I pissed blood the other day just once hasnt happened since, but doc said bloodwork and scope up the piss hole....this thought damn near makes me pass out...anyone had this done? pain???
maybe you beat your dick to hard and broke blood vessel.. maybe you no beat so hard next time.. idk..
I know someone who had it done for kidney stone/bladder related problems and they said it wasnt a really painful procedure but they did have burning urethra for a few days after
damn dude..i can't really imagine that... i got myself tested for STDs once and got like a Q-tip stuck in the end of it....that was VERY painful. maybe the scope is really really thin?
I remember one time I was peeing bright red & it got me really worried. Then I remembered that the previous day I'd been eating boiled beetroot. The red beetroot colouring goes harmlessly straight through the system.
I've had this done, it was uncomfortable. My doc said anesthesia was not an option with his practice. Instead they did lidocaine, waited 10 mins & in they went. Half way into my penis & they encountered obstruction. Retracted, went in snipped obstruction then all the way into the bladder. While in there you will feel the camera moving around. You will feel it on your urethra, almost like pulsating as it moves. Then they pull out, hallelujah !! Until you go to stand, don't be stubborn like I was, wait a good 5 mins until you stand & urinate (which you will have a strong urge to do). Also when you get up hold onto something or someone. Ask for rX for a few Valium before you go to the Dr's. I wish I had. Also, I was 29 when I had it done. I'm told it's easier if you're older. My urethra was uber-sensitive. I pissed blood for 4-5 days afterwards. Waited a week before masterbation. It was very uncomfortable & also very bloody. It gets better after a few loads. Good Luck
I'm a nurse and happy to answer any cystoscope questions. It's not going to hurt during - They'll give you something to relax, followed by a drug that will make you not care what they do to you... Most likely this combination will be Lorazapam followed by a drug called Versed, if you want to look them up. I strongly suggest asking for something that will keep you from being sick to your stomach, as that's a common problem. You'll likely sleep through the procedure, but either way, you definitely will not remember it! You're likely to have some bladder spasms and pain afterwards, but it's nothing unbearable. Think of a moderate UTI; it's something like that. The nurse will tell you more about what to expect, but it's nothing you can't handle.
Had to get it done when I was 12... pretty bloody uncomfortable man.. I didn't have any madication before hand, so it hurt like hell going in.. but the worst past was, I had to urinate, as the doctors were trying to see if its al working proper inside.. now that hurt, a lot. But it all goes rather quickly once its over
