if you looked at the other posts. I said its something got to do with my boyfriend. thanks danke danke
I really like it. Is the reddish bit supposed to be fire? To the person who thinks it's a generic eyesore and wants their tattoo to mean something: -I don't know what you were trying to acheive by posting, unless you want everyone to think you are a dick. Or did you think she would get it removed? What is the point of even constructive criticism once the tattoo is finished? -Anchors are not generic they are iconic. Hearts, anchors, sparrows etc are all classic designs and excellent expressions of tattoo pride. -Your assumption that it doesn't mean anything is ungrounded, and she has no obligation to explain its meaning to you. People who like to regale others with their deep reasons behind their tattoo (and it sounds like you would end up one of these) are extremely irritating. -Even if it was just to look cool, how can you possibly fault that? It's a visual addition to the body. Tattoos are like anything else you do to the body, they can be done just to make it more beautiful. Or do you think everyones haircut needs a meaning too?
So anyone that doesnt like it is a dick? I think the colours are great. There are certainly worse tattoos, but its basically a sailor tat on a 20 year old girl??, doesnt seem to fit. Seems a strange choice
he gave me pink water haha.. i dont know why really, probably because he wanted the anchor blue, to change it up a bit :daisy: thanks for your post <3 no, but theres no need to comment. he could have saying its not his taste. He wouldnt get it. But no, he had to call it an eyesore. and then the "If you like it, that's uhh.. great." ..that annoyed me.
Not really a lifetime, considering the wide availability of tattoo removal services and cover-up artists, but yes, usually it's almost permanent and so it shouldn't be done lightly. But difference in how long it lasts doesn't mean it has to symbolise the depths of your soul, it can still have all the meaning of a haircut. Dreadlocks are a better example: it hurts to aquire them and it's a pain to undo them, and most people will have them for a long time, but still, nobody thinks you're shallow if your dreads don't have a meaning beyond "I likes dreadlocks"
