Finally got around to watching this picture that combines two of my favorite things; hippies and Peter Sellers. Not sure why some describe it as a "stoner movie" it was more of a zany mediocre comedy only saved by the brilliant Peter Sellers and the gorgeous Leigh Taylor-Young. I hesitate to use the phrase "exploitation flick" but I get a little bit of a that sort of vibe from it.

The movie was probably dated as soon as it came out, but that is OK cuz it gives it a kind of "time capsule" novelty. Not really impressed however, there where a couple of subtle digs at "straight" society that I thought where pretty funny.

I don't think I could watch this movie again, even though I thought it was pretty good it's not as iconic as "Dr Strange love" or "Being there"

    Semi-Spoilers:

It is clear from the ending that it is really a film about a middle aged man going through a mid life crisis
