Not necessasarily; afterall we observe the passage of time in our daily lives so why not do the same after death? only you never get hungry, never get thirsty, never have to work, never have to take a shit, never feel any emotions - only peaceful angelic bliss throughout the ages

Yea I have tried ignorin it but its gettin worse man. It's pretty fucked up. One of my coworkers the one who laughed at me for it has told me he has actualy seen a spirit late nights in the back of the stock room. He said he sawa young man about 20 who was dirty from working the ground wearing dirty slacks. He just was bending over when my friend saw him and then stood there and shook his head and folded his arms and disappeared.

Listen, I don't think this thing, whatever/whoever it is can/will do you any harm. I lived with something like this for many years and I think I even managed to photograph it once (check out my gallery and subsequent posts regarding it). I'm not prone to fits of fantasy, but I'm convinced there is something to this stuff.

What exactly I experienced - I've yet to form a definitive opinion on. Lately, I've been leaning toward a metaphysical explanation for it. I'm always skeptical when I hear people telling stories - something in the back of my mind always wants to cry bullshit. And people do make shit up, obviously - for whatever reason.

What I experienced freaked me out quite a bit initially - I mean fear got the better of me at first. Especially when I started thinking that this thing was trying to interact with me - trying to direct my attention to it. Something about that really bothered me and that may have just been my interpretation of what was happening, but it's certainly true that the more I acknowledged it, the more it kept happening. The more thought I gave it, the more pronounced it became.

I don't blame people for snickering about this stuff, because I still immediately think "bullshit" when I hear some stories - others, I can see certain similarities with my own experience and naturally I'm less skeptical - not justifiable, but nonetheless true. I wouldn't be terribly surprised that at some point you tell us all that the whole thing was a bullshit story to draw out all the nutbag believers so that you could chastise them. Or maybe not. It doesn't matter to me either way.

But if you're sincere and this sincerely bothers you, all I can suggest is that you either ignore it or make the effort to figure out what it's all about (I recommend the former over the latter). If this thing is actively trying to engage you and you encourage it, it will oblige you, I'm certain of that. Where that leads to, I think is probably not a good place, but again that's based soley on my own experience of this sort of thing.

OK ^ that is exactly right, in my opinion.

I have been in the situation of living around "something" (a ghost?) that I was NOT happy sharing my space with. I told it this. I wasn't really ugly, but I did explain that I wasn't interested in the tomfoolery (stuff dropping, breaking, drinks spilling, etc) but that it was not allowed to harm me...altho' I fully understood that I must not harm myself in trying to FLEE. Learn the Lord's Prayer.

I feel jam is really right in that if you pay it attention, it will oblige you and give you something to watch for & "interact with. I remember telling mine (now either gone or quiet) that I wasn't giving it any heed but that it must go if it was going to start some shit up. Like I say, learn the Lord's prayer. :D

I want to comunicate with it and find out what it needs. I don't like the idea he is stuck there in the stock room forever, and I want to help him go so I can do my job and not be freaked out lol. Whats the best way to do this?

I admire that you want to help "it", but you need to be aware of the possibility that this might not be just some poor lost soul, just caught in limbo, or whatever. It might want something else from you. Let's say that demons exist - they might use any method they can think of to do you harm: to make you sick, make you sad, make you mean, make you do harm to yourself or others. How could you ever tell if this thing meant to do you harm or not? Get someone from the clergy to bless the area if you really want to do what's best.

Good Lord ghosts at the wall-mart ! I sure hope I have other shopping choices in the afterlife . ? I mean really if I was dead and earthbound , I could think of a lot of other places I'd' rather haunt.
