Is it just me or does anyone else get all wired and crazy feeling around "that time of the month" THE NEW MOON !! .... ugh . The best way to sum it up is a manic, social anxiety pretty much panic attack kind of feeling that I get. I'm perfectly aware of it yet unable to control it. erg...

I can feel it building already. I always hear of how people get all "crazy" and such with the lunacy associated with the full moon but for me it seems quite the opposite. I feel quite normal (as normal as I can get anyways) most the time until it the New Moon approaches. I try to get extra meditation time in just to keep myself from totally bugging out. Good thing is, no cramping or bloated feeling. lol
lol....my boyfriend was playing with an unblessed Ouija board lastnite so I told him I plan to bless it next full moon..so needless to say Im looking forward to both the new and full moons now!
"When the feeling came upon me like a tidal wave" - or should that be "hubble, bubble, toil and trouble" - or maybe "Bad Moon Rising"? Hmm .... could be the Luna light that brings out the Wolf in me? (Bring it on)
And there is was gone! Can't say anything out of the ordinary occured - although what is 'ordinary' to some ....
Kind of a survey. Some of my Pagan friends use a "week" of the new or full moon. 3 days before and 3 days after. I was curious to what others think of this and how they observe the full or new moon. Any particular superstitions or rituals that you ALWAYS perform. Personally, I go for the moon is full or new, or not. it's a one night thing for me. Not to be confused with a one night stand. lol I'm feeling much calmer today, although there's still a nervous type of energy surrounding me today. I didn't sleep well last night. I cut some sage and mint today to let it dry til the next full moon when I'll make smudge bundles out of it. Then it will be hung to dry some more. peace and stuff
I think it may be me whilst I try to embrace the ambience of Luna moodbeams, the troubles of the day may be obstructing the degree of receptiveness. Ah well, tomorrow is another day
