Panther cap??

Hey guys. i recently found this mushroom in the woods with my friend and we were wondering if it was a panther cap. here are some pics...

Whats that?
Looks like a fly agaric aka amanita muscaria. You need a gill shot to properly ID a wild specimen. Fly agaric is a horrible nasty buzz. Its not the right colour tho and without a proper ID I would not eat it. Fuck even if it was properly ID'd I wouldnt suggest preparing it.

 

Looks like one, but I'm not an expert on id'ing mushrooms.

I thought you were suppose to cook amanitas to release the ibogine? IDK I would never consider eating one.

 

you mean Ibotenic acid. These vary from shroom to shroom and I have not noticed any different intoxication from, teas, soups or anything like that. All the same to me eating them. Some people may want to boil them, they become houses for many insect.. But a little larva never hurt anyone.

You have tried them more than once? Whats the buzz like? Every one ive ever hear of trying it would never do it a second time. Why do you like it?

 

its kinda like an alcohol high with no alcohol..

yes, I eat them every time I find them. Which is pretty often.. Glassy eye vision, feeling stronger, and taller. Little drooling but Ive never gotten fucked up on them without smoking weed with them. Then sometimes voices and wild thoughts kick in.

 

I've taken enough to get the "drunk" feeling, but not enough to get real disassociative effects.
