I personally feel the who sex offenders law is flawed, and should be rethought...

I've had my own experience, and could of gotten on the "child protection list" (im 16) then at an older age be put on the sex offenders list... Why? Because I had a few little quarrels with another girl in my school, and posted a download link on a networking site which contained naked pictures of herself, that she had taken and distributed... The man who interviewed me explained to me how he had to deal with "sick fucks like myself every day". I am sorry, but I did not abuse anyone, I did not rape anyone and I certainly did not make anyone feel uncomfortable, the girl and I were due an interview, and her mother who made oh such a fuss about these pictures, said her child did not have to turn up the interview... So basically, not only did she just waste my time, the teachers time, the polices time, she also almost ruined my entire life. For honestly, a very stupid mistake which wouldn't happen again.

To be a sex offender, it seems all you have to do now a days is walk past a school with your shirt off, or wearing a very short skirt, have a persons mother complain, and bang, youve been put on the sex offenders list like that.

I am totally with people being prosecuted, named and shamed, for serious sexual assults, grooming, things like that. And I am all for them being isolated by society, as it can only be their fault, they did separate themselves from societies rules, so why should we accept them as an "average person". But what I do not agree with, is people being prosecuted for "sex with an underage person", because everyone matures at their own age, for me I was having sex at the age of 13, not because I was stupid, I was mature enough to know what I was doing, the dangers, etc, why did they give me sexual education at the age of 10 if they didn't think I was going to have sex during my teens... Its silly.

I know tons of girls who have been in a relationship, after it ended, have claimed they got raped, or have been encouraged to say they had gotten raped by their boyfriend. In one instance, a girl broke up with her boyfriend, but every wednesday, he came round and they got up to sexual activities, and every week she'd go on about how he had forced her into it, how he had raped her etc.
I am honestly disgusted at how people, my age, are just thinking "it'd be a laugh" or ruining someones entire life because they dislike them. They don't realise what the "sex offender" law can do to someones life.

I'd say its flawed, and thats why there are so many sex offenders, because of idiotic laws and accusations...

It's hard to get from a bar to their house without going through public. Some people don't have the money for taxis, some people live so close it would be redundant. And if you're real sad (or real happy) and you go a little overboard, lose your awareness, and get caught peeing in an alley at 2am, you should NOT be considered a sex offender.

    ^^

with that logic a drunk could rape someone and just say "i was drunk and lost some self awareness"..so ...

a normal man knows to keep the penis out of public view in most countries

No, rape is sexual in nature.

Peeing in an alleyway is not sexual.

You seem to have missed the whole point of my argument.

Pissing in public does make you a sex offender here also. It should not be that way unless you are pissing and trying to show it off by waving it at everybody. I think the laws need changed to fit the crime.

If you are pissing in public and have done your best to hide you sexual organs from people passing by, then you should not have the title of SEX OFFENDER on your name. Maybe Piss offender.
If you are pissing in public for all to see and flaunting it then it should be a crime of a different nature. Sex offender should be just that " having to do with sex" be it rape- sex in public- sex with an under aged person consent or no consent.

its necessary...otherwise the creepy perverts would be pissing in public parks in front of children and others....and would just say "well i just needed to pee"

just dont piss in public and there wont be a problem...

do you need your mommy to remind you to pee before you leave the bar?

    pissing is done with genitals

    pissing in public exposes genitals

    genitals are sex organs

exposing genitals in public is against the law....deal with it ..or maybe write your congressman and see the response you get lol

Whom said that there should be no laws against it. The argument is whether it should be a sex crime.

They can be sex organs; they can also just be body parts.

A crowbar can be a weapon; it can also be a tool.

    It depends on the usage.

If you are not doing anything sexual with it; I think it's more of just a body part.
Your mouth can be a sex organ. Male nipples can be a sex organ. In fact, hands are probably the most used body part sexually.
