Ohhh Darel, I cant wait to read your new story!! Once ya start writing, all the memories come flooding back which leads to more stories.

If a few more ppl start writing we could have this book on the shelves by Spring and that means Jingle in the pockets of the writers... yes, yes.

    Hiya Chuck,
So glad to see you again. Back In The Day, I had my circle of ones that I loved dearly, You Chuck, were/are one of thoes loved ones.

I will be waiting anxiously to read your renditions of the events that took place when we were all so young and so free.

I know you gots some good ones to share. Lots of shit was always coming down around us.

I wish there was more interested in getting this book moving. It is for us, by us. The Haight Street Hippies/Hippies of The Earth.

We could have a little skinny book and maybe sell a few copies but if we all pitch in, like we are called on to do, then we will have a big fat book full of exciting events that took place in our lives in the most interesting time of all Happenings. This Fat Book will sell millions of copy.

I know there were other Hot Spots for Hippies but The Haight was Hippie Haven and everybody that was anybody was THERE, body, mind and spirit, at one time or the other.

Everyone wants to know about The Hippies from the 60s/70s. Who better to hear it from than us.

We will see who really cares. It wasnt by accident that we came together, it is no accident that we are here together now. Why, if we were not suppose to write about our adventures, are we gathering? Are we here, just to say hello and then go about our merry lives.

I think there is more to it then that. I think we are gathering to finish what we started so long ago. It's about the message in our song. Will the melody die with us? Will we be long forgooten and our best efforts gone wasted unsung.

Shall we rise up out of the ashes of yesteryear like the great Phoenix or shall we lay it down and smother it with our procrastination.

Some of us that Have are the ones not writing. Their income sustains them but there are some that have no such security are putting their efforts into something which will provide a little finacial security in our old age.

We can stand in the flea markets and sell our trinkets till hell freezes over and never have that security bc of overhead, suppling meterial and renting spaces and maybe break even or take a big loss. I'm getting too old to stand in front of a booth barking, in freezing weather or scorching heat.

I'd much rather sit at my pc and write stories, wouldnt you?

Well my family, I have begged and pleaded, I have given encouragement and filled your sails with a strong and steady wind. Now it is up to you to set your corse and trim your sails and head out for The Writing Of OUR Book.

    Lovins always

Yes, Everyone. You all remember Sag Darel learning to skin a skunk hide in the backyard of the Blue House.

Now, it's live on the Internet. Ta Dah! As only Darel could write it! Not to be missed.

This Book is OUR Legacy to all future generations to inspire freedom forever.

Posting the note that I just now e-mailed to Darel.

    Darel

    Tremendous job. Bravo!

Its in the layout currently on page 66. Stories do move as some new stories get added.

Check It. You'll love it. Let me know what you think of it. I even added some Reader's Info to make the story clear to our audiences in China, and Egypt. For the translation versions of the book.

Keep on having fun. Keep on writing your SAGAs. The DFWolverine Journals.
    Go Go Go!

    By the way, try this:
Hold down the Alt key same as the Option key on your Mac and while holding it down type the ";" key (Semi-Colon key). you'll learn how to get this " … "
Another one is Alt or Option and the letter "G". This= ©

    Have fun!
    "Poof, you're an Author." LOL

Mary Jo and I had a terrific visit with Rita and Range on Monday afternoon and evening. We laughed and all had fun and recorded everything on Mary Jo's pocket size 8 hour digital recorder. Got a bunch of book material.

I finally delivered on my big bribe to get him to agree and sign-off on having the heart surgery. I took him out to a great Japanese restaurant and bought his more sashimi (Sushi that was not sitting on top of a ball of rice) than he could possibly eat. He definitely tried. It was a Valiant Effort. But in the end, we managed to overwhelm him.

And we brought him a case of Anchor Porter (four six-packs). Funny. He really doesn't drink, but he had one.

These were the two big wish list things that he wanted and was whining about in the 3 1/2 weeks in the hospital before the heart surgery. He was on a restrictive diet for weeks. So, I promised him that I would make it happen.

    A promise fulfilled.

    Kenny,
That's great. I bet y'all did have fun, except for the sushi part, we dont be eatin' fish bait for supper. Now a little roadkill now and then is perfectally acceptable..lol

    Hey Kenny,
Do you have that thingy you add on to ur pc that types out what you say? I saw it advertised, so I know there is such a thing.. you talk into mic? and it types out the words. That would be a cool thing to possess.. no type-o's either.

I think something like that would help ppl with getting a few ( I hate to say it again) stories in. I think furthur and can see that some folks are great story tellers and some folks are good story writers.

The story tellers would then be able to contribute to the B**K without stress. The writers of course would still write bc that is what writers do but they could also record their material if they so desired and didnt have time to type it out.. it'sa win, win situation, I mean if any one would consider that.

It sure would help the ones that are struggling to make ends meet

I know Darel is having a tuff time right now having to move with no $. Ranger and Rita could use a little suplimental income as could I and I'm sure Chuck could use some too. In fact I dont know anyone that couldn't use a little boost in their finances.

    Any thoughts on this, anyone?

well it was worth a try.

Today will be an extra busy day for me and tomorrow will be even busier. I'm having a Baby Shower for Sam, my grand-daughter. She's six month along with my first greatgrand child, Kash. He will be here 1-21-12.

We havent had a baby in the house in a long time, that lived here. Lots of babies visit Nanny and Papaw but this is the first greatgrand. I am excited, yet terrorfied.

Sam's gonna need a lot of help with this baby and it will be me that will have to do the helping. I hope I have some endorphins left to keep me from going insane. Old women are not suppose to have children for a reason. They are suppose to love them and spoil them and then send them home with their mothers. You cannot send them home if they live with you, right..lol

I'm sure this is some kind of test.

Hubilicious painted the house yesterday, he had a spray gun so it only took him a few hours. It was Blue, and you couldnt miss it if you passed by. Now it is Confedrate Gray and three ppl came by and didn't even notice the difference.

To me it looks weird bc there is no plants or shrubs around it and it sticks out like a sore thumb, kind of stark and bare, except for the trees around it.

Most everything died this summer due to the drought and blazing heat. I will have to start fresh come spring. It will be exciting to plant new varities of fauna flora about. Like painting on a fresh canvas. There will be new colors available to fit in constrast with the new background.

Before, with the dark blue paint, I was limited in what color range I chose. I had to keep with lighter colors for them to show up against the dark background. Now I will be looking at all the new shades I'll have to pick from.. OHH Joy :)

My flowers are a great distraction and bring me much happiness and peace within. I have been deprived of that splendor bc of the weather conditions. Lynn says, the drought will be broken in 2013, that next yr will be the last yr of the drought and then the rains will come.

I can hold out till then, if, that is, the world doesnt end in 2012. If it does then I guess it wont matter what color my flowers are.

    Morning Ramblings

Yeah, Cakes. Ellen's stories are up. If you're not seeing any changes in the layout, them you may need to reload the pdf document web page.

Generally its a button that has a circular arrow symbol on it. "LIKE RECYCLE" click button.
