Anyone Seen Elite Squad or Elite Squad: The Enemy Within?

I saw the first one, a very violent/action/realistic crime thriller set in Brazil. The second one (which everyone says you don't have to see the first one to understand, that it's really a separate movie with a same character as the other one, if you know what I mean, anyway). Yeah, so Elite Squad: The Enemy Within was just shown at Fantastic Fest, which I missed since I don't live anywhere near Austin. It got mostly great reviews but some people hated it (very violent) and it's supposed to come out this fall. Did anyone see it?
