Breaking the death barrier, by 'lisa' (not the real name of the author) I found this book in the library the other day, really good so far its a novel based on what it says are true events. I'm at about page 60, so far it has this lady lisa interacting with a spirit called Betty white on Ouija board. it seems pretty legit and everything but what bothers me is how shrouded this book is in mystery, don't know the authors real name and when I search for it on google theres no info on it what so ever. wondering if anyone has heard of it and what they think of it, I recommend reading it if you like philosophy and wonder what happens after you die.
i have never heard of this book, i'll try and look for it in the library. i find philosophical-spiritual stuff pretty interesting (among all the other genres i enjoy reading ^^) and that is strange, i only found one website that has record of this book: http://openlibrary.org/works/OL5659762W/Breaking_the_death_barrier but even it doesn't say much, it doesn't even give a summary.
It was in the occult section near philosophy at my library lol But its not a occult book. it tells how our spirits are immortal, and that when we sleep we go to the plain where souls go when they die. thats what lucid dreaming and astral projection is cool for you can see people that have died in your dreams and such. Haven't finished it yet. Oh I emailed you btw lol
i'm gonna look for it if we go to the library this weekend. i know, i just checked today. and i replied ^^
Sorry, you called it a novel; that implies fiction. On that note, does she cite any sources or research?
Eh I called it that cause its written like a story, but before it begins she goes on about how all this really happened n such. So like a autobiography, but just a certain time in her life. No its mainly why I posted this topic to see if anyone knew anything about this book, as I said theres no info on it when I search except for one website that doesn't even have a summary. In the book itself it refers to the Betty books by Stewart Edward white, in Breaking the death barrier the dead wife of stewart tells them to read these books.
