Do You Think Ur A Hippie

I'm gone again now.

(yeah right, but I'm trying at least)

 

I would definitely consider myself a hippie. Everyone calls me one, but that's not the only reason I consider myself one. I'm very into hippie ideas and cultures, and long story short, I would call myself a hippie.

 

i am 17and i am proud to say that im a hippie. My parents were and are still hippies you could say that my house is sprital in a way that we never see fault in others for what the did or are
the saying treat peaple the way you would wont to be treated is use a lot.
i love music like led-zeppelin,greatful dead ect.i dont like rap or that new metal crap peaple now call rock and i belive in the hippie way all but for the drugs.
i mean that i do dabble a little but only pot. i feel that i dont need to do a lot of drugs to get to enlightment. yoga or something can do the same thing but slower and with out the slide affects

hmmm... im not sure if im exactly a hippie. im like, part anorexic, im forlorn like about 99% of the time.. i get possesive... i do no drugs.. and i have restrained from sex.. im miserable.. and im pessimistic for the majority of the time. the only thing "hippie" ish about me is the fact im like.. completely against violence.. however im surrounded in it.. so.. i dont know anymore.

personally i prefer the title DeadHead... but thats just me

 

DeadHead's and hippies are a bit different.
Hippies or Children of the Sun as I prefer live with nature and are in a lot of cases nudists. Most of them listen to oldies too.
DeadHeads do LOTS of drugs and rock out to rock and roll.
Ok, end of my steryotyping.

 

there's alot of different definitions of a "hippie" nowadays, but i dont think it's just somone who smokes pot and does drugs, as it seems some people think. i dont think you have to even have ever done drugs to be a hippy. it's about being free, i guess, and loving nature. its also about acceptance. it's about alot of different things, and i guess not necessarily about anything i said. its alot about peace, though.


now, about myself. i consider myserlf to be at least a little hippieish. i always have been. i've loved tye-dye all my life, and i love the thought of being a flower child. i believe in peace and acceptance. i would go to a war protest anyday. i love the grateful dead, and wish i could see them with Jerry. i love nature. i dont know, people just seem to call me a hipyy, too
