My doctor may (hopefully) be prescribing these 7 day buprenorphine patches for chronic muscle pain and I was just curious if anyone had had any experience with them? They're fairly new (janurary 2011). I'm NOT looking to get high because of abuse history this is all my doc is comfortable prescribing. So I guess I'm looking for info on pain management.
Yes, they SUCK!!! Even for the pain, our friend,who never done Opiates, got these prescribed and day 5 and STILL no relief Tramadol works better, but it can et quite addictive from what I hear, I was only prescribed it for a short time - 3 months - and didn't feel the addictivness, but then again I moved onto Bigger and Better thins !!!
I've heard mixed reviews. A few people have told me they work great, and like JBIT I've heard their useless. Guess it depends on the person.
Sorry about the missing "'G's" in my post, my 3 year old lovley daughter spilled Iced Tea on the key board and the buttons on the bottom line don't work, so I have to use the On-Screen Keyboard" with the mouse, which is sucky and time consuming and foe spell check here I have to download a program that doesn't workon my computer - WTF!!! Yes my daughter, whose THREE, is a whiz at the computer and better than me, LOL!!! Sorry this is SOOOO off topic, but I was taking the opportunity to vent !!! Back to the topic, you're better off just taking OTC Asprin or Tylenol, if you're Doc won't write you anything else!!! J<~*CHICK*~>
