By hours 6-8 you'll be less mentally tripping, or at least you'll be used to it and much less likely to have problems with things, but you'll still be seeing shit. If that's what you mean. Also, of course he could act at hour 8, upperlevel..... But at 1.5-3, I'd like to see him try.:2thumbsup:

 

Thing is with lsd is sometimes the bulk of the trip is 6-8 hours and sometimes it's a little longer, 8-10 hours, and so i really wouldn't recommend basing your whole first LSD experience on your parents "probably" being asleep :\. You really won't want to speak with them until the next morning, and even THEN you will be a little off, if it was a powerful trip.

 

on my most potent acid trip just after the peak i was fine and watched texas chainsaw massacre with my mum... lol i could barely speak and was just quietly laughing my ass off which made her laugh. go back the previous 4-5 hours i would've been off my head.

 

Yes it is quite possible to act, talk, walk, etc. completely normally while under lucy's spell.......if you are experienced with psychedelics. I've done it numerous times.
But for your first few times it would be best to minimize interaction with parents/authority figures.
Even with experience a heavy dose can leave you basically catatonic as you travel through inner space.
The biggest problem with interacting with others while tripping is that often thoughts are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup, They slither while they pass
They slip away across the universe...............

Seriously it can be hard to follow the "flow" of a conversation while peaking, especially on heavy doses. Cause and effect transitions can become wildly distorted and make conversations seem very disjointed and scattered. Although the process can make perfect sense to you internally, often it comes out like insane gibberish because those listening can not see the connections or logic that you are experiencing at light speed.
Often you will start in on a conversation and by the time the other person responds your thoughts are light years beyond where they were a moment earlier.

But with experience and familiarity with the psychedelic head space it is possible to conduct oneself in a manner that appears completely normal.

Unless of course your one of these dipshits who think they have to "act out" and fulfill all the bullshit and hype they saw in school anti-drug films, and we have all seen them around here before

 

I say if your parents are sleeping you will be fine, just use headphones and a low dose, shouldn't arose any suspicion. And, I have played it off as being tired the next day numerous times, even on my first trip.
Obviously not the optimal situation, but not out of the question IMO and IME.

 

Most people would not be ok to be tripping on acid in front of their parents, especially for their first time tripping. Others, like me, would be fine. In fact, the first time I took acid, my first hallucinogen, I was 13, and I went to the beach to go body boarding with my dad and my older brother. I took one hit that had been dropped on a cracker that I ate. Neither of them knew I was on acid, and they never found out (well my dad didn't I told my brother long ago). I didn't get a ton in the way of visuals, but I was definitely really high. It took me a really long time to change into my wetsuit and I got lost coming out of the ocean to the beach at one point and walked about a mile down the beach looking for my stuff, realized I'd gone way too far, walked back, and then finally realized that I had come out of the ocean right in front of all my stuff but didn't see it somehow.

If you're on a decent dose of good acid, even if you can handle yourself fine, you still have to worry about super dilated pupils which can be an easy give away. You will have to worry more about this if you're inside or its dark. If its a bright day it might not be as noticeable, but again on a good dose they still might be huge even in bright sunlight (at which point you should probably wear some strong sunglasses).

 

who knows. who knows what's even in lsd these days. i'm sure the people on these forums are getting access to vastly different ranges of potency and purity.

well, that's what's SUPPOSED to be in it. all i meant was that who knows how many people are actually getting th real deal and who knows how many people are getting straight up bunk or stuff with other chemicals besides lsd in it.

 

Probably less than 1% of people who get acid are getting some other chemical than LSD.
As far as other chemicals, not too many will fit on the same mediums used for LSD and if present, most are not active at those levels.
But as Voyage so eloquently put it, this has been addressed in these forums a million times before.

Please educate me on what other substances will fit on a typical blotter or microdot and be active in that range.

 

Sounds like you need to read about the non-LSD ergoloids.
I am not super knowledgeable on the subject, but there are apperently substances VERY similar to LSD both chemically and in effects that will fit on blotter but aren't quite LSD. These can explain very long or very short trips and such. Some examples are LSB and LSM.
I don't know if I buy all of it though.

Uhhmmm, I guess you missed the "active in that range" qualifier didn't you. The link you provided doesn't say a damn thing about active weights in humans or really say anything except a list of lysergamides. So what was your point again, because you certainly failed to prove anything thus far.

For shits and giggles lets also throw in the $$$$$$ factor.
How many of those substances are financially feasible to produce from a drug dealing standpoint AND remain stable and active long enough to be distributed?
Sure there may be other substances that are as potent as LSD and produce similar results, but if it costs $10,000 to produce 100 doses, who going to fuck with it?
You forget that LSD is one of the most inexpensive substances to produce when broken down to a per dose cost.

Your right I didn't check each link. The majority of those in that list are active at much higher doses than LSD except for the LAD ones.
Also interesting that MLD-41 produces LSD as a metabolite and that is most likely what produces the effect.
So I will acquiesce on the point of other substances being active in the same range as LSD.
But what about the cost of production of these other substances?
Anyone out there know that info?
It would be interesting to know what is more costly to produce because face, illicit drug chemist are in for the $$$.

I still doubt that much of what is sold as LSD is some other chemical.

 

I talkiing about LSB, LSP and LSM, take another look at those bro. 75% as strong on one of them for sure. Also, many are saying that these are cheaper and easier to produce slightly, but the main reason is that the precursors to a couple are easier to obtain and not as suspicious.

 

He did, however, list non-lysergemide chemicals active in that dosage range.

Though it's worth noting that (as I understand it) nBOME's are not active orally, and must be taken sublingually, if on blotter. Eat your blotter, and if nothing happens, but it's LSD like if taken under the tongue for a long time, it's likely an nBOME.

But there's really very little reason to make a different lysergemide, you could, but as for why, or why we'd really care, if it's indistinguishable from LSD.... If you've got the know-how, equipment, space, and connections, I doubt that that precursors are REALLY going to be so much of an issue.... But possibly.
