newbie looking for info/advice

I'm not sure I belong here. Just started looking for new ways to still have a life while caregiving and losing my wife to AZ. Planning to do some experimenting; don't know how or where to start. I don't know how much I should say about it. We've had a faithful, very straight, very conservative sex life for nearly 40 years. Now, even that is going away, so I'm investigating methods of self satisfaction;maybe more. Never could talk her into trying anything new or different. Our circle of friends and family would be appalled if they knew I was doing this. I'm sure some of them may have thought about it, or maybe even done it, but would never admit it.
