Does anyone care to share their experiences with shrooms, acid, ect.? I unfortunately haven't had the opportunity to have my own experiences and hope to do so soon. I love having these conversations with people I meet who have, so this seems like a great place to ask!:2thumbsup:

My first mushroom trip was at a friends house after a party. I took an 1/8 and a couple other friends split an eight. The intial onset at a half hour was this undefinable energy and I started giggling randomly for no apparent reason, although we were listening to a 2pac song set to a Barney and Friends video so that in itself is amusing. After about 15 minutes I started feeling nauseous and I headed outside and started dry heaving, my friend stayed out there with me for a bit to console me which really helped me keep composure.

I went back inside after a bit and laid down on the ground, I started getting really strange body feelings it felt as if I was fusing into the floor, and my skin felt as if it was taking on new textures. I didn't talk much or interact with the other people tripping with me for the majority of the trip. We listened to Magical Mystery Tour by The Beatles and I had a tremendous appreciation for their music in the moment. I got very structured geometric hallucinations lining the room and I noticed by closing my eyes that I could not escape the effects as the visuals continued and appeared to be sort of a runnuy sludge of beautiful earthly looking fractals and colors. The time dialation was extremely pronounced compared to what I was used to with pot, it seemed as if a few minutes was nearly an hours worth of time and that threw me for some loops throughout the night.

On the latter half of the trip we moved to a different room and the trip started getting more reflective, euphoric and a little less chaotic. I started talking with the others more about their trips, I found myself pondering how amazing it was to be connected to my friends in the moment and had a tremendous appreciation for life.

I found sleep difficult for about an hour or so after I wanted to go to sleep and still occasonally get hallucinatory blips in the darkened room but I was still in awe of the experience so it wasn't bad and I woke up in the morning feeling refreshed and revitalized.

This was a great article. It makes me even more curious. Getting stuck in life repetition and "my ways" is almost a fear. Maybe having this experience could bring about a whole new way of looking at life... since right now it seems boring! Thank you very much for that link.:2thumbsup:

LOL at the 2pac song set to a Barney and Friends video! You talked about getting sick and that is one thing I'm very worried about. How long did it last?? It seems that it really can give you a new appreciation for the life around you. Thank you for your post, it has made me even more curious.

It initially lasted about 20 minutes, basically the transition to peak of the trip and I'd feel somewhat nauseous sporadically throughout the trip but it wasn't as bad, I guess if you are going into the trip just to 'have fun' the nausea and body feeling would probably be bothersome but in that case shrooms may not be for you. I took that initial trip for self exploration and novelty but I read and inquired about shrooms prior to taking them myself, much like yourself!

if you've been drunk enough to puke...i think that's a lot worse than any nausea i've gotten from shrooms.

LSD doesn't cause much nausea :)

i have tons of trip reports on here. just search threads started by me if you want to read them

It all started so simple, my guide was keen for the hunt, I on the other hand was not. It seemed a waste of time, and risky business, but in the end he talked me in to it, I said ‘hey why not, got nothing better to do, lets see where this takes us’. So we geared up, and set off for are destination.
The anticipation and keenness grow as we got closer, and when we landed on a slop, hoping not to be spotted by the enemy. The hunt was on! Now, we where hunting for magic, and magic wasn’t easy to find, it was hidden and random. It took a while, but we started to find them and get an eye for the little buggers. My guide has no patience and started gobbling down the magic, I on the other hand ate them a little more slowly and careful.
After about 20 within two hours nothing happened, but after another 10, zang! The world was alive! Strange and wonderful things where happening, the whole world breathing as if on its own, some natural super force, full of colour and life, old untold secrets all around. Now laughing to myself in joy I happy picked on, without care, downed another 10, and fear crept up. Time to go, I said. ‘We’ve been here to long’.
I tried to drive, but all the landscape around was moving everywhere, and its was impossible to focus on anything. I handed the wheel to my guide, and said’ get us out of here’. It started to rain, and the windows fogged up, ‘how can you see in this muck’ I was starting to doubt it was possible for any more to navigate this horrible land, we started to serge though time and space, going round and round. There seemed no end to the crazy roller coaster, and began to doubt where we where and if we were lost.
Not to long after thinking this, we hit a foreign object, and the craft was fucked, for shore. Lucky it was right in front of a strange house in the middle of nowhere, as we drove in though a small grave drive way, I looked down at are craft from above as if we where small lost spacemen. Totally confused and no idea on what to do, the most simplest of tasks seemed impossable. Are guide found the owner of the strange house, and explained are situation, million thoughts raced though my head as I waited, ‘get on top of this trip’, I thought, but it seemed impossible to stay on , the smallest thing could nock me off.
The man came out all confused and weary, probably as confused as us i thought, but he was trying to help, so we parked are craft, to check the damage. It was fucked, and he wanted us out of their, and to leave my craft out in the middle of no where I total lost touch of reality and began to fret, and i was just dragged in the strangers craft with my guide. I couldn’t stay there and I couldn’t go, but something had to be done, and I couldn’t leave my guide. So I jumped in, where we where going, I had no idea.
As we glided to are destination, I was worried and confused, but feel safer and thankful of the driver, who was just trying to help, and then like a scared little animal, I was dumped off to the closet destination the driver could find. Me and my guide went into the nearest building and warmed me are selves by the fire, both of us where still a bit sakein and dazed by how loose from reality we had become back there. though the magic hadn’t quite warn off we slowly began to come to grips with what just happened. My guide had already called for help, it was coming we just had to wait.

sounds intense, and to OP, ^THAT is exactly why you should NEVER drive tripping, despite how "fun" people think it is...imagine if you had hit the house or worse...

OP: I've only had exp. with lucy, but I'm considering trying shrooms
But I can tell you one thing, don't do it BECAUSE you are bored with life...
To be honest, since I did acid, I'm somewhat bored with life, or maybe it's more about being awestruck with the experience, but this is something you should learn from, not just enjoy. Altho the experience will be something enjoyable, and down right interesting.

Above all tho, do have fun when you do it, you will see things in life you haven't noticed before for sure. I really opened my mind, learned things about my self, learned the virtue in patience, the world is more beautiful. And psychedelics have never interested me more! Have fun!

I've taken shrooms on a few occasions and from my experience it's always just finding things baffling and awesome. I'm sure other people have had deep meaningful trips on shrooms, but myself personally just love being with friends and talking about ridiculous things and letting the wacky come to us (the wacky being a term we use to describe most things while tripping). I think the best was when my friend and I sat in his dorm room with door open and just watched the events of the evening unfold, it was a weird evening to begin with the shrooms made it even weirder. I'm hoping to get deeper when I drop cid at some point in the near future.

I did shrooms once about 3 years ago and again about a year ago, both times with my best friends. The first time was enjoyable but I don't think I was quite at the maturity I was for my second time which made the second time much more meaningful. The second time we selected a spot in the forest that felt like it had good energy and sat down and munched away on probably a little more than an eigth each. I think generally you get nauseous in the beginning, I never actually felt I needed to throw up but the feeling was there for a short time.

Then you snap right out of it and we all looked straight ahead with the view we had selected of a large tree on a slope with birds occasionally flying by and landing on it. The colours were brilliant and everyone gave off their own unique energies. One of my friends sort of became the guide/teacher during our trip which wasn't unpleasant, it was just his role. My girlfriend became a nymph like person since she was literally enveloped in ferns as though they were becoming her blanket and she was wearing the perfect clothes for the role too. We discussed lots of things about the various colours and interactions of all the creatures and plants that were around us.

We probably stayed in that one spot for 3 hours just all exactly in tune with each others thoughts and feelings. After 3 hours we began to come down I think which is why we decided it was time to move on and then eventually it wore off but it lingers for awhile afterwards and occassionally on our walk back we would spot a meadow of such a brilliant shade of green or a flower of amazing colours that we would all stop and watch it for awhile before continuing on our way.

I really enjoy the trips but to me the days afterwards are just something else entirely. I feel more connected to nature and I feel like I understand people a little better, especially the people that I tripped with but also others as well. I don't think I've ever lost what I gained each time I did shrooms. I've always loved nature but I've become a little more aware of it each time and now when I walk down the street or in a park I can't help but stop and admire beautiful flowers, birds, insects etc. which I don't believe I would have enjoyed to the same extent had I not done shrooms. I also believe it has improved my relationships with my close friends much more and has helped me choose the friends that are really important to me.

I could go on forever but I'll force myself to stop there. I hope you enjoy and that you gain something from it! Keep an open mind, don't be afraid and make sure you are completely ready mentally before you do it, and surround yourself with the right people are my suggestions :)

    Peace!
