Nailcakes Gotta give it to you, your writings are the best. So much content it's taking awhile to read it all. The lack of formal education (thankgoodness) doesn't show in your writings . I read outloud to Paul and he is lovin it. I am still writing but I wasn't there in the best days, unfortunatly. I got to know Janis' roomates and drug dealer but not her. I did go to the bar she went to Maudes a couple times. and to meet Sonny Barger ! Wow thats big! Thanx for sharing. The Straight theatre was closed when I got there actually kind of thankful for that after reading. Though I would have loved to have gone to Steve Gaskins meetings.though, and to know Jimmys painting is locked up in there is unsettling though it is probably painted over by now.

That is what Kenny needs. They're 75$. He needs one to run the recorded stories through so he doesnt have to type so much.

Loved the vid Darel. I remember that time so well, fourty yrs ago.. I cant remember what happened yesterday but this brings back all kinds of feelings and attitudes.

Such a time we had. I will not go ino detail bc it might cause Kenny to explode into a million pieces and we dont want that to happen...lol...loves ya Kennykins..

It is extreamly difficult to not write our stories as we chat amungst ourselves here. It just cames out without calculating, anilizing, or over-processing.

Try as we may, here, it seems like our hangout. We forget that we are not alone and there are at least several dozen following our thread.

I know I forget and just type what I'm thinking.

 

Oh man. That video brings it back. Shook me up listening to one of my all time favorites-Procol Harum. Gary Brooker and Robin Trower!! Most of the time I can remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I hear PH and the other ones on there. I remember living in the jungle in an old house on the big island --no TV-no radio-just nature and jungle living hippies--BUT-a record player on which I would stack a bunch of records on some nights when the windowpane was in evidence and many of us would sit in the dark and go --wherever we wanted,of course. It was the place that I melted into the ALL and everything resembled a test for color blindness--uncountable dots of existance ,including sky,house,jungle and myself.

Remember the projections of colored oil and water behind the bands? Simple stuff.

Anyone at the Hell's Angels party downtown when Janis and the Rascals played?

LSD Trip # 57, 1964

Sag Darel is working on a detailed SAGA about how awesome Altamont was. It was on Dec. 6th. His birthday. Soon to come.

He also just sent me a story by his lifelong best friend Larry Jordan, all about first impressions of walking into the Blue House. Wow!

Zev wrote his own cross country adventure from NYC to SF. He too is going to write his walking up the front stairs of the Blue House (first impressions Story).

I too, need to write my own "first impressions of the Blue House story."

I'm glad you're feeling better.!! Eye really enjoy our conversations on the phone. Hoka..! And a belated birthday shout out to Ranger. Well.... It's official my wife is going to Austria for her first art show!!!! She's leaving on the 29th. Between that moving, working and hide season. AND...... The lvintertribal powwow is at the end of the month 2. Will post photos and videos.!! I've been kinda of bizzy! However, today I should be able to complete the last few paragraphs to my "Altamont" story. Like Kenny said, it was my birthday that's means WE have bragging rights .... Hi Y'all,
I've been reading this morning. Reading about our lives and the adventures/experiences and learning lessons we all went through to get to where we are now.

What amazing lives we have led, we had so much energy and fire. We were quiet unique in our own likeness.

Our learning experience was not like any other to behold. Our youth and innocents became old knowledge, wisdoms from Other World.

I think it's absolutly amazing that we lived like we did, in a solid family enviroment of strings of human beings from all parts of the country and evn some from other countries, all on the same Frequency.

I suppose that is what channeled us together in the first place was the frequency, we musta been listening to the same channel when it dawned on us to gather in the haight ashbury district of san fransico.

Even tho we may be tiny specks of sand in the universe, together we made a mountain out of the combined efforts of all the tiny gains of sand.
