saw it about two days ago. this is one of the things that can happen// around here with deer all over the place too. even running, i know a guy who was trail running and got hit my a deer.
When I lived out in the country, I would see deer carcasses on the side of the road all the time. I thought about how irresponsible those rednecks were. Then, ONE DAY, on a bright blue day, I was driving home from work and the guy in the car in front of me, got hit by a deer. I mean, there was no mistake. That deer CHARGED this dude's car. It was such an unbelievable scene. The attack of the deer!
Around these parts moose just stand out in the middle of the road just begging to be hit and if you don't have enough breaking distance - KA-POW! Hotwater

I've had to move a deer carcass before that my dogs took down, it was not a pretty sight at all! And I also had a deer jump literally right in front of my truck so i slammed on the brakes and just barely clipped the back end of it, slight dent in the fender and the deer didn't even skip a beat.

It's scary shit, isn't it? I haven't had one charge my car yet, but I have (under the influence of MDMA) was driving home from the beach one night and saw something in the middle of the road and I couldn't tell what it was (I just assumed it was a bag of trash or something) and there was a big ass truck coming from the opposite lane, so I decided to run over the trash. . . except it wasn't trash - it was a fucking deer carcass! One of my friends that was with me was like, "Dude! You just took that deer like a speed bump!" Then, we realized that one of the antlers had punctured a tire. . . that was so not fun. 3:30 AM, changing a tire on the side of the road, in the middle of nowhere, rolling our fucking balls off. . . to make matters worse, a cop car came up and asked if we needed any help and I shooed them off, telling that we were fine, but that there was a HUGE dead deer in the middle of the road about .5 mile back and that they should probably do something about it.

eh, it wasn't really scary in my situation. i was driving a beat up old pickup truck, and i was almost stopped because i saw the deer standing on the edge of the road, then when i was right next to it the dumbass just ran straight into my front tire, bounced off, and kept going. more funny than anything.
