I have zero fear of heights, love roller coasters, and even danced on the CN tower glass floor as a kid (which wow that sounds like an insane trip), but anyways I'm living in an apartment building (13nth floor ) and wondering on advice with regards to lsd and heights, bearing in mind that I don't fear them in an invincible way seriously doubt I'd try and f'ing fly or some stupid crap like that... Anyways, just wondering on anyone's experience with tripping and heights, thanks for your time.
I'm afraid of heights, and I'm even fine. So yeah no worries. All those myths you hear about people trying to fly, they were morans in the first place if they even tried it. You'll be surprised how much self control you still have on the drug. You'll be fine. I'm assuming you're just gonna be in your apartment? Because a roller-coaster on Acid might be a little too insane...
Oh yeah just in my apartment hahaha sorry I gave you that impression, but yeah looking to get mai fix and then depending on how it works out solo trip or get my best friend out here, if all things go according to plan.
okay dude, so I did a solo trip, it's not like a group trip at all. SO BE REALLY REALLY CAREFUL you talk to yourself, you essentially have multiple personalities (it's really just your different emotions I think?) and you really really fuck with yourself. It can get scary, so just some tips if you end up doing solo: Setting is more important, lighting is important, make sure it is calm and bright. I did it in my parents basement, so I turned off the lights later at night and that's when things got bad for awhile. But I read a lot, so I knew what to do and it ended up being fine. The most important thing is to know it will come down, and you will be normal no matter how high you escalate. But to answer your main question, your apartment will be fine, you're not gonna jump out of your window or anything haha! Go into it with a great mood tho, if you're gonna try to have fun, you will have fun! And a solo trip was great, you really learn about yourself, so I mean I think I had a bad trip for part of it, but I learned from it, so I don't really care, it's just one of those things where it's easier to trust yourself than others, you know? So just a warning to read up a lot about it. I'd suggest looking at some documentaries or something to, that got me into it a lot.
Yes not to worry about that I'm generally a pretty cautious person so when it comes to new experiences I don't just do it on a whim so I believe I have done the necessary research and whatnot, but thank you very much for your tips. I mean part of why I find this so interesting is sharing with other people my experiences and learning from theirs so thanks for sharing Oh and any documentary suggestions, watched a lot of them on weed, but not psychedelics.
Yeah! Right? I've loved this forum because of all the ideas you can share and learn with others. You seem like the right person to try it, and when you do, I hope you have fun, and learn much. I would take note that you learn even after the experience has taken place as well, so if you have the intention of learning from this, you will certainly love it even after it's over. as for the psychedelic documentaries, I'd recommend: The beyond within. All of the others will tell you the same thing pretty much... But they are fun for different perspectives. Unfortunately, there aren't that many answers to LSD yet, and after trying it, I'm surprised how we don't seem to see the need to research it. But have a great time!
First time I dropped was at a festival and they happened to have a ferris wheel there. Now that was fucking awesome! The horizon seemed so close but at the same time really far away, and watching all the people down below running around doing their own thing and enjoying themselves really gave me a huge emotional lift. When I munch shrooms with my friend, we always go up the same hill by my house and watch the city lights dance and wave down below. The buildings warp in the distance, and the taller ones usually look weightless and start move around like bits of anemones caught in calm underwater currents. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWN9E_piTT4"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWN9E_piTT4 0.04 onwards(ignore the crustacean thingy and the shrimp, just the floaty plant shit) Heights + psychedelics = brilliant show
Yes I have been lurking for a long time and finally decided to make an account just felt right since I've moved back to Canada, and what's the point in doing these things if there isn't something to truly gain from these experiences so yes I do want to learn and experience and definitely plan on loving it I've started torrenting the documentary now, thanks!
Thank you very much for sharing, if I were to go with a ride ferris wheel would be the way to go (The London Eye would be crazy), but anyways this was exactly what I was looking for, luckily my apartment does have a pretty good view of the city lots of lights to see, and I don't plan on doing too much outdoorsy stuff since it'll be my first time, and simply beautiful that bit about anenomes and underwater currents with regards to skylines. Truly thank you.
ooh dude. You'll want to see the stars!! the universe bleeds into you. The weird thing is, you see how big everything is, and also feel like it's all within you. Your choice tho, but point is, you'll want to make an outdoor experience sometime in your life. Even the day is cool with the clouds!!
All in good time friend, I will experience all this world has to offer! If I feel completely comfortable with the trip then yes a walk would be fun, but I'd feel better if my best friend does make it out to take it with me.
^^ try to get a good glimpse from your apartment tho man, that sounds great! I would probably lock your doors tho, cas one thing with LSD is you want to wander once you see how cool everything is! JK, you'll be totally fine!
Wow man that's such a good idea. I've never even thought of being literally on a different level while tripping. Wow...now that I think about it I've always been ground level while tripping on shrooms/lsd...oh man that sounds so cool! Maybe I'll try a friend's place downtown
I have a huge fear of falling, too long to explain here but I would say like others, it's likely not a problem. Don't let mythology and urban legend convince you everyone wants to fly on lucy. I would however highly recommend a sitter for your first time. Indoors or out. Here is Bill Hicks oft-posted clip about tripping, with mention of flying. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vX1CvW38cHA"]Bill Hicks - Positive Drug Story - YouTube
Great clip, I love Bill Hicks he must make some of the weirdest noises in his acts. And my main concern was if I would have a bad trip, never truly believed that I would try to fly, thanks for the advice though.
