yes,.... i thought this was a hippy forum and no talk about kombucha? strange! it's a health drink, slightly fizzy, not as bland as herbal tea (which is also nice, but not so exiting stuff in the long run) and it can have a tiny bit of alcolhol in it, depending the way it was done. made from tea and sugar and then, adding the scoby, a sort of fungus transforming the liquid into a really tasty health brew. this is the future, folks! tastes a little bit like cider, and the best... you can make yourself at home!
I had some Kombucha about 10 years ago. I don't guess I cared that much for it. I gave all mine away.
It's passed around often, as the mother fungus reproduces and you can gift friends so they can start their own.

I was visiting a friend at a co-op in frisco last time I tried kombucha. This mama (face paint on the regular, artistic type) walks in the room I was sleeping in just as the sun came up; and she was excited to tell everyone in the house that she just finished brewing some home-made Kombucha. I didn't even know what the hell Kombucha was so when she offered it, I gladly accepted. She passed it to me to try it first and watched me take a sip. She was all wide eyed and laughing as I forced the odd liquid down. She's like its amazing isn't it? To be honest I thought it was a sick joke and she just tricked me into drinking urine. She had been trippin a lot lately so but so had I... idk. Everyone else who tried it really liked it, but I have never tried it again. in conlcusion, I'm not a fan of kombucha
