America is a deeply divided , angry nation . It seems everyone has just about had it with an out of control federal government . Including some states like TX., AZ. and Oklahoma with it's latest fed . gov. " fast and furious gun debacle ".

A movement has been growing in some of these states , to reassert state sovereignty . Which if passed in their state legislatures could be the first steps toward eventual succession from the union . While most states are dependent on federal monies , how much will state funding be cut in the current financial crisis ?

Yet is it possible that states will become so tired of illegal immigration , and broke from constant usurping of their tax base . That they will eventually say the hell with the federal government , and push for state sovereignty ? Illegal immigration is federal government sponsored terrorism ! It's one of the biggest threats to our national security . Not some terrorist's in third world countries .

Couple this with a stalled do nothing bipartisan congress , and both political parties swinging wildly to their perspective parties far right and left . They seem at an impasse unable or unwilling to put America and her best interests ahead of their own parties best interests .

Now , with the emergence of the tea party for the right , and possible new version of the Occupy Wall street for the left . It seems that their are now two camps , both growing away from the middle . Both growing more angry by the minute . And both realizing that their parties and their government won't solve anything .

Could we unintentionally be sowing the seeds of another American civil war ? Between the left and the right . Between a two party corrupt political system . Between rich and poor . Or over states rights to limit and balance the power and size of an out of control fed. government . Could the red and blue political state maps , become the next military map of succeeded states ?

Could what we know be seeing , the last battle on earth between capitalism and communism , being fought in America's homeland ? Could the outcome of this struggle dictate the type of government the global "new world order " will be ? With global world government . And aren't they really one in the same ? A fascist police state , ruled over by the oligarchy elite few ? One world global government seems like the outcome , no matter what happens .

It seems that the game has been rigged . When you own and control both political parties . How can you lose ? When the unseen hand of true power and wealth , is the hidden puppet master pulling the strings , for both sides . The little subordinate puppets dance for their master , and do his bidding .

Is the hour to late ? Is the deck to stacked ? Is resistance now futile . Will we end up killing each other again in another civil war ? Only to amuse and delight the man behind the curtain . The puppet master who knows where the plot of the book is going , because he and they are writing the book . Where are we headed as a nation ? As a people , who are to deeply divided and angry . Where more is now wrong with the country than right .

Do you know how fucked a country has to be before a civil war happens?
People are pissed but they aren't that pissed. People can hardly be bothered to go vote or protest, much less kill their countrymen in armed combat lol.

Succession has been illegal ever since the end of the actual Civil War. Only 22% of Americans even think a state should have the right to succeed, much less actually support it happening, and politicians who venture to suggest something of the sort have been derisively mocked.

The red and blue states are divided by minor idealogical differences, none of which are profound enough to consolidate and start a devastating internal war. Which could never realistically get off the ground anyways. Will never happen.

There is a lot to tackle here, but yes, there are big things in store for this country, and they're not good. I have been talking about this stuff for ten years now, and each day the things I have been saying for all these years are becoming more obvious, to the point that people who used to hate me and always disagreed with me are now admitting I was right all along.

I do see the mob potentially used to "overthrow" the current government and economic system, but it won't be grassroots, and will be used to basically usher in an even more tyrannical form of government than we have now, with the exact same people in control. Basically, what you referred to in your thread as the New World Order, which is what it is in a nutshell. I see the OWS protests heading in that direction.... possibly. 90% of the OWS protesters are calling for measures that would only HELP the people who want total control over every man, woman and child on this planet.

The thing that's most important for the people in control is to keep the people at the bottom divided and at war with each other over meaningless issues. They do this through politics and keeping the left arguing with the right and vice versa, completely unaware of the big picture and that BOTH sides are controlled. So all this political bullshit is keeping people in the dark, and I believe both the OWS people and the Tea Party people really don't have a clue at all about how the system works.

Anyone who calls themselves a left or right winger, or identifies with any political party (or political MOVEMENT) is fueling their own demise, and they're really only fooling themselves.

As far as capitalism and communism, there is no battle. Both are controlled by the big banks. Socialism is simply monopoly capitalism, and as Lenin said, "communism is socialism in a hurry." We don't even have capitalism today, but rather a combination of capitalism, socialism and corporatism under one roof. The people in power actually WANT more socialism and more government, and they have to convince people that the evil bogeyman CAPITALISM is the problem so they will accept more government control over their lives when they have in fact caused all the problems we see today BY DESIGN!!!

America as we know it is in its final hour, NO DOUBT. Actually, this country has been gone for a while now... people just don't realize it yet, and they won't until they've lost it all, and they will very soon. It doesn't make me happy to say this, it simply is what it is.

"Leadership Consultant" Alaina Love sets out the Hegelian paradigm in a comment in the October 13th Washington Post.

"In the U.S., the movement has emerged as the yin to the Tea Party's yang, but itself is a form of chaos in the process of coalescing into a new order."

But don't you think things are heading in the direction of protest now?

The Declaration of Independence actually provides encouragement for overthrowing the government when it no longer serves the people.

Aside from a few clashes of various radical groups and growing protests; I don’t see a civil war in the offering unless things in the U.S. change fundamentally because most people are centrists'.

Sure it's a stretch and will likely never happen . However , it can't be dismissed as lunacy either . If the states lead the way as they did once before . Many don't understand that the first one was started by states rights issues . Slavery was a secondary issue . And many thought the first one would never happen either . In fact during the first battle of Bull run , many family's were on the battlefield picnicking . They thought they were going to see some play or something . Until the death ,carnage and destruction started and sent them running off in terror . What followed took the lives of what , some 700,000 mostly poor citizens ?

The American empire is in it's last days , as a superpower . The entitlement programs like pensions will be cut , or lost altogether . Things like welfare and food stamps will be drastically cut . How will the states bear that burden ? When the fed. money stops coming in ?

People will no longer have the luxury of apathy . They will be forced to take a stand . The biggest motivators in life are hunger , homelessness and oppression . All of which will and are rising dramatically .

I hope you're right and i pray it never happens again . But I can assure you of one thing . Unless the industrial base of America is restored very quickly . Unless the middle class is restored very quickly , and bullshit free trade agreements disabled . Then blood will flow here again . Rivers of it .

Google this man , Igor Panarin . He is a Russian scholar , professor and k.g.b. annalist . He has seen studies in classified information , on the economic collapse of America , the breaking apart of America from its result. the succession of states from the union, And the civil war that will follow .

One thing's for sure change is coming rapidly in America !

    I see a Revolution.

    Revolution
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A revolution (from the Latin revolutio, "a turn around") is a fundamental change in power or organizational structures that takes place in a relatively short period of time. Aristotle described two types of political revolution:

    1. Complete change from one constitution to another

    2. Modification of an existing constitution

The situation now isn't even close to what it was in the period leading up to the Civil War, and nope, the causes of the Civil War may have been complex, but slavery was very much the central issue. With each formation of newly created states, the debates over whether it would be a "slave state" or a "free state" became hotter and hotter. This was the 1850s, most people had long since realized that slavery was not only immoral but also hypocritical given the "all men created equal" slogan the country was supposed to have been founded on. The agrarian South could not abandon its instituition of free labor overnight or else they would have faced ruination essential on par with the eventual outcome of the war.
There isn't anything in our present day politics that even comes close to the gravity of slavery and its economic implications.

Global interdependancy, borrowing, whatever it takes essentially. The rest of the world does not want America's economy to tank and the world's largest consumer market along with it. America isn't in its last days as a superpower, but it is in its last days as the sole superpower. 11 aircraft carrier fleets don't just get brushed off the board because the economy has a boo-boo.

I don't know. The United States in a second Civil War over free trade agreements? Come on man.

I think that's what the OWS protesters want. Washington 'politics as usual' is just to slow. Whatever Acts get voted, dont take place for 4, 8, 15 yrs. We need help/change now!
