Best Place to Trip on Acid?

I live in GA and I want to go on a road trip for my 18th Birthday. I wanted to go camping at the Grand Canyon and trip but it is too far. Any other ideas?

 

Grand Canyon probably wouldn't be the best idea... But camping would be fun. I'm doing that this weekend!! haha can't wait just picked up my cid today!!

But couple of things:
Is this your first trip?
How much are you doing?
Solo or group (I'm assuming group if it were camping, but just asking)?
Outdoors is where you're going to want to be!

 

It wont be my first trip.
I'll probably take 3.
Ill be with just my boyfriend (he's more experienced with psychedelics by the way.)

and yesss outdoors is the only way.

 

If with a group then definatly outside around a fire. Unless you prefer doing it during the day time. The best trip i have ever had was alone in my room. I covered the walls with aluminum foil and hung strips of it from the ceiling. I lit one candle and put it in the center of the room, put on no quarter by led zepplin and ate 5 hits. That was an out of this world experience. I highly recommend something along those lines if you are really looking to explore you sub-conscience.

I mean really, the fact that your planning on dropping L will be the experience itself. So... really I wouldn't go anywhere that would be really interesting like the Canyon. Plus I've been before, the likelihood of you getting caught at a national park would be high, and probably a major fine, prison sentence.. whatever.


Just go camping! But It may be a good idea to get away from home. It also may be better to get a lodge or hotel that you could stay at, camping could be risky. It would probably be better if you stayed 2 nights, and the first night you took note on how safe it would be, then night 2 you could decide if you want to do it, because the next day is gonna be weird anyways, so you may as well ruin a trip home, not the day outdoors! Have fun!

The Aluminum idea sounds amazing! I might have to try that, but not on my birthday, I was looking more towards an amazing place to trip, privately.

 

i second the idea of camping for two days and tripping on the 2nd day or night. when i've dropped on the 1st day, i always end up getting pretty confused at night time....
use the 1st day to get your bearings, get prepared (physically and mentally) and gauge the safety of doing it there.

best place...i dunno. i've enjoyed by running water in the woods with a fire. i like to trip half during the day and half after the sun goes down.

i'm sure the ocean would be awesome.

Yeah, defs trip the second day. It would be better to stay even one more night so you can be more able to drive and such after and not be physically and mentally exhausted. I would say wake up before sunset while camping, perhaps an hour before. Drop then and if you dont have too intense excitement maybe take a bit of a nap as it comes on. Then when you are tripping you will trip through sunrise and throught the day.

I guess it is. Any time you trip acid should be 'weird timing'
I personally like day time trips, but I like to drop early enough that the afterglow wears off enough by nighttime to get some really good sleep after exhausting myself. Just my method I guess.

 

I usually trip between the hours of 11pm-2am because having the sun rise while I'm either at the plateau or comedown is essential.

The only other possible way I could do it is wake up before sun rise and drop.

There's just something weird about tripping late in the day and coming down at 2am when it's pitch black at night. maybe it's just me

 

the best place to trip on acid or mushrooms is phish. you want to start going when the 1st set starts. its pretty moving.. haha. i dont think you could take too much of either, im pretty sure thats what phish is for.

I like tripping int he day, but most of my trips actually happen at 10pm just due to scheduling.

 

Night sky? Day sky? Just follow the sky till the ends of what it's worth

 

I give it heavy consideration because it affects me so greatly for some reason.

i usually see faces in clouds and then get super freaked out by the magnitude of the sky and have to get up and run around

 

That made me have a realization... I love being outdoors during at least part of a trip.... LSD always gives me that feeling, that vastness of the sky. But with 4aces I feel like I'm inside a snow globe... in a capsule flying through space. Two totally opposite feelings.
