And I enjoy the red contrasted with the green hills a lot, actually.

 

Beautiful sweet leaf ! You are very creative and talented . Are you a Pisces perhaps ? I bet it's symbolic as well . What's the book the roots are springing forth from ? I too like the colors used , it's vibrant and the splash of red drawls the eye to the main focal point and gives it depth and contrast . Makes the other earthly colors pop and ads interest .
