I just noticed that all the boards tend to lean to some extremities.. I guess to "ideals" of sorts.

I'm just not one of those people, I'm the kind of person who will sit down with the arguments from both sides, think about it for a while and usually choose a "gray" option.

In other words, I'm rarely "black" or "white" with my choices, nothing's perfect after all and balance is key.

For this reason, I am neither democrat nor republican, nor green, nor tea nor any other group that supports a solid unwavering philosophy.

And I'm willing to guess, that a lot of people are like me. I know I'm not alone and I'm certain that NOBODY sees in just "black" or "white" all the time.

So is anyone else the anti-band wagonist that I try to be?

    I probably am.

I certainly don't affiliate with any political parties, or even specific political viewpoints.

although some of my views, not neccessarily political but in general, would probably be considered pretty out there by most people.

I think there are a lot of rational people on this site, actually. There are a few people I really admire for their ability to look at all sides of a situation.

both extremes are reflections of aspects of my self, and the totality of my self is a natural flow between them oscillating around a constant linear motion

In keeping with the "Declaration of Independence" would not the right of secession be a means of instituting a 'new government'?

Well, I have made it more than clear that I am adamantly opposed to all these idiotic labels people love to throw around. Personally, I don't believe in hierarchical systems like government and economics. At the same time, it's hard to talk about solutions when the only thing the majority of people are capable off accepting is something like what we already have, which people have been conditioned from birth to believe is necessary but really only serves to control them and manage their lives.

In my opinion, this is not the time to be moderate or a centrist. Change is needed and it's needed now, using the tactics the repubs are so successful at--that is--no compromise in principal. I am so disappointed in the nutless democratic party for not sticking to their traditional role of helping to advance social advancement.

(do NOT tell me there has NEVER been any differance in the parties, dammit. That one note bullshit shows a lack of historical knowledge)

i think one should be like that if only in a responsive action. when one has more of an initiative thought on ideals, thats when a lil more extremity/importance is due.
so op, when youre voting, lets just say, you can form an opinion. but when someone asks you what you believe in, what do you say?
