Finally, dreads.

After thinking about it for over a year, I decided that I am going to dread my hair. But, I do have to ask the other dreadheads if it would look okay.

ha, yes, but it is bearable. Also, what are some alternatatives for wax?

 

Shampoo and water!

 

I don't use shampoo.. Lol. I've been using baking soda and apple cider vinegar for such a long time, and it can wash dreads pretty well, too.

 

Ahh, I used that for a while but found T-Gel floats my boat.

I'd stay away from wax, though.

 

Why would you NEED an alternative to wax? It slows things down, are you looking for something sticky and disgusting that slows down locking? I suggest a 1:1 ratio of lard to used friar fat.
