From Sacramento. live in foresthill but go to Sac Town regularly.

 

oooh foresthill! it's nice up there... went camping this summer at sugar pine reservoir. might have to go again next summer.

 

Yes, it is very nice and peaceful. i love having no neighbors and being surrounded by the forests. Me and my gf are nudists so it gives us a chance o have a lot of privacy.

 

sac anime is going on this weekend. same weekend as further confusion in san jose.

there are always SOME thing going on. not always much. in someways sacatomatoes is a bit of a pit. i live 15 miles north east of there, in the humble little railroad town with all the rose-villans. mostly because there's even less public transportation to the towns further up the hill where i grew up then ever there was then.

there's something called sacramento news and reviews that's free, most places where you see a bunch of newsracks lined up in a row.

not being all that social myself, that's about all i know to tell anyone.

if you don't mind going places with no more then two bags and no live animals, you can get to a number of other places on public buses. placer county, from the watt 80 light rail will get you to auburn, and at certain wee small hours of certain days, as far as colfax. grass valley has a buss that meets the placer county in auburn that will get you there. there are also buses to davis, woodland and folsom. these are like city buses only longer distance.

amtrak/capitol corridor, also runs a commuter train or train and bus combo, depending on time of day, four or five times each way every day, between auburn and san jose, and most points that still have stations in between.

for current entertainment news, and other things hip, that news and reviews comes out every, if forget, either every week or every other week, or something like that.

i grew up in colfax and i love forrest hill and iowa hill and noth san juan and a lot of other wonderful smaller places up in my hills, but any more you almost have to have a car (which i don't and don't want to) to get to any of them, or bum rides off of someone (which i'm not really into imposing on anyone either) who does.
