WHATS WRONG WITH ITS NOSE? im sorry but i think it looks more like a bug. Its actually quite scary looking, just my opinion. ignore it if you want.

People who breed cats with smushed in faces should be hurt. Almost every single one of those cats has respitory problems. Ever heard a pug breath? It sounds the same with these damn cats. Want to hear your cute little kitty purr? Good luck because all you will be hearing is snoring. Yay for breeders who breed healthy cats!

    Aw it's cute.

Not all cats like that have respiratory problems. There is a common "illness/problem" for every different breed of cat, dog, etc.

    Off topic, but.............
supergrrl, your piggy is so cute! He's a pretty boy. I had one when I was about 11 named Dr. Pepper and he had a wife named Ariel. My parents let them go in the woods one day while I was at school.:( I would love another one, I am so tempted!!!! But I have a policy against caging anything and I dont know how to get around that if I were to get a piggy. But I want one!!!

Awwwwwwwww that kitty is so cute, not mad keen on the squashed face though.

    So yes, piggies....

Let them roam free around the house. They could still have a hutch, but just for when you're out or at night.
It works fine for rabbits, so why not piggies.
Would be easy to 'piggie proof' too as they can't jump.

I like piggies too, but they can't really cohabit with the rabbits (speak diffrent languages apparently) so maybe I'll adopt some when I've a house of my own.

Sergant Pepper is gorgeous, fab name too :)

I keep mine in a cage for the most part. I have cats, dogs, and a ferret that are already roaming freely around the house. The ferret can easily move and avoid the cats and dogs but guinea pigs have no way to escape. So I keep them in a cage, it's fairly large though, about 5 by 3 feet. Once a day I let him out to roam around the kitchen for about an hour.

    He seems happy. :D

I dont have a problem with keeping my hamster in a cage, whenever he wakes up I'll take him out and he roams around the desk or windowsill, any tabletop really, i just dont want him on the ground cause of power cords. I think it's good for them to have a safe place for them to go in your house.

You can actually do something called free rang. If you don't believe in cages. GP have a habbit of peeing in the same place every time, so esentually they can be litter trained. Now there poos are a diefferent story, but they are hard, and not gross at all, and nothing to clean up.

Read throw this site if you want to, it's really informative.

Thanks Elle. He's almost three, and weighs nearly three pounds  Mama's big baby lol but actually he weighs a lot less when he has his hair cut. He's the best little furry face, very happy and content, and a total bottomless pit.

I think free range is a great idea, if you can get around chords, and random things that piggies like to chew on. Good luck, let us know if you make it happen!
