Once I'm in the shower, I could stand there and stare at the wall for hours.. It takes a lot of willpower for me to turn the water off and get out.
i hear ya.. sometimes i just wanna stand in there for hours.. if i had one of them old person shower chairs.. i'd probably stay in there all day.. now i really wish i had a big enough tub.. i love just laying in the bath smokin a bowl.. fallen asleep in tubs many of times
when I was in vegas, I stayed at MGM. they had the best shower. I'm always cold, so it was nice. I stayed in their for well over a half hour, I didn't want to get out
i dont have a problem getting out... i usually run out of hot water! stupid inefficient apartment water heater. thats why when i build my house, im planning on a tankless water heater, and possibly a storage tank. when i take a bath i take a page out of my mom and brother's book, i start big pots of water on the stove to boil ahead of time. i wish i had money to start building my house. ive got so many good designs.
I have the same problem, I've run out of hot water a few times, but not recently. Though if I'm rushed and have somewhere to go and little time, I can be pretty damn quick when necessary.
I love getting out of the shower in the summer...dread it in the winter, especially in the morning since we turn down the heat at night and it's freezing when I get up. Luckily I work nights right now so it's not as hard to get up but that first minute after hopping out of a warm shower and trying to dry off as fast as possible is the worst thing ever.
I find myself daydreaming all the time in the shower...sometimes I wonder how long I was standing there I only shower in the morning..it wakes me up..i feel like total crap until then if I ever get rich Im building a glass room for the shower so I can see outside
The worst in when you wake up early for school or work or something and its freezing out and you take a realllly hot shower it sucks so bad when you get out. hate it!!!!
in the winter it is best to end the shower with water as cold as you can stand it. not only is it refreshing, but it cuts the temperature shock when you step out, and it helps retain moisture (the hot water on your surface evaporates into the cold air, no matter how dry you try to get with the towel, the moisture IN your skin does the same thing) its pretty arid where i am, and i hate to use lotion, so thats what i do. oh, it also tightens up your freshly cleaned pores, so fewer blemishes.
I do it opposite lol..i go as hot as I can stand it in the winter and in the summer i take cool showers then at the end I turn it to almost pure cold for the last minute mine has some pressure regulated control thing where the pressure is always the same and turning the one lever just changes the temp...I love that thing..the temp stays the same even if the toilet flushes
My enjoyment of the shower at the moment is due to the fact that the Gas Central Heating is not working - ah the joy of electric
I will definitely have to try turning down the temperature before I get out. I've heard before that the cold water helps your skin is better for your skin to
just always take cold showers haha. it makes u shiver and makes you clean yourself and get in and out really fast. and you feel super refreshed after you dry off. its really not that bad unless you keep thinking its bad. I do the same thing as you when I take hot showers. i could stand there forever too. I can easily take 15min. showers. I try not to stay in there to long though cus I don't wanna waste water. but yeah taking a shower feels very good. the funny thing is that even though I enjoy taking a shower so much sometimes I find myself to be so lazy its hard for me to even get in the shower in the first place. usually if I do not go out anywhere and just chill around the house then I don't take a shower.
lmao!....I think I have wanted to rep you like 3 times today. It wont let me I have to spread the love.
I used to manage a pizza delivery restaurant, and I would get home as late as 4am and I would get home and smoke, and I would get in the shower and just stand there stoned forever. Especially in the winter. My memories of standing in the shower after listening to phones ring for 8+ hours are much better than the ones that came with my experiences with the pizza industry. I've already caught myself doing it this year now that it's cold though, so I guess it's also a little bit of a seasonal habit for me. I'm too interested in other things in the summer to spend more time than necessary in the shower. Speaking of seasonal habits, I had so many Halloween treats this weekend, but i really want some pumpkin cupcakes. MMMMmmm... I'll get on that this week.
