Remember pulling something out of the 'fridge that smelled kind of funky, but you figured, "Eh! What the heck?" and you consumed it nonetheless.

    What was that anyway?

Mine was some English cheese that I was told is supposed to smell that way. Quelle surprise !

I had to eat it. :(

My boyfriend's grandmother served us up some chili and rolls. The rolls had been in the freezer since about the beginning of time and were so badly freezer burnt you could smell them from across the room.

    I had no choice. Ugh.

I won't eat any thing I even think may be bad, especially milk, I'm sooo paranoid... If it's anywhere near the exp date, I won't even touch it...

I'll never forget the time when I was a kid and I spent the night at a friends house. We stayed up late and got stoned & got the munchies so I grabbed a container of Cool Whip outta the fridge (the fridge was disgusting by the way....like the rest of their house) and there was mold growin' on the top. I figured fuck it, scraped off the mold and then ate a big spoonful. My mouth was full of this HUGE gross globule of rotten Cool Whip!!!!!!! UGH!! Makes me sick just rememberin' it. As for now, I have a total phobia 'bout old food. If it's questionable it goes.

I don't pay too much attention to expiration dates. If it looks okay, smells okay, and tastes okay...I eat it.
