Is anyone else of these "sensitive" falsetto boys?

There seems to be a new crop of artists around that are all educated and sensitive and clever and sing in falsetto voices.
Specifically, Bon Iver, Everything Everything and Wild Beasts.
Awful sentimental dross - its the new shoegazing music but without the quirkiness.
And Vampire Weekend - you can all fuck off too whilst we are on the subject. The only good thing about you is your name. Feckin' "Afro tinged pop" indeed.

 

Those artists are certainly in vogue, but stylistically I would hesitate to say that the likes of Everything Everything and Bon Ivor are particularly similar a part from the fact they both have impressive range in their voices. Bon Ivor's voice is a lot less strained and harsh than that of the Everything Everything lead singer.

 

I actually like Vampire Weekend haha..well, i have there first album and thought it was awesome. Not sure about their new stuff though.
