The Mars Volta. I hated the guy's squeky voice. But, after my brother played it ten thousand times each day, it grew on me rather quickley.

Bucket Head too. I never understood the music, but it grew on me.

Coldplay, I could not take a second of his voice... now I can live through a song or two... but if it's three straight...I go mad.

korn. i always heard the names wu-tang clan and korn together. i wasn't a fan of rap because of the "n" word, and feared the same from korn

haha..I like that..the n'sync of the sixties..gott remember that one.for metallica,I loved the 80's stuff.I thought everything after that sucked..altho I can get into some of the later stuff now if I hear it.I'd never buy it thoas for dude not likin rap cuz of the "n" word..man,my AA sponsor is an old black dude from bmore.he all the time calls me his "nigga"& most would prolly call me a redneck lol.its a term of endearment man..now if it ended with "er"thats totally different..those types come in all colors tho

It's about time... of course before, you made up your mind about him after hearing only two live versions of his songs. [IMG]

but now i absolutely love both.. i used to make fun of my mom so bad cause all she was ALWAYS listening to neil young! but then the music grew on me and now i thank her for a great taste in music.

Hey boy why don't you give him a lesson of good old rock'n'roll power with a lot of balls in their music like a band called "Thin Lizzy" this is one of the most powerfull band in rock'n roll history not like those 2 afro women escaped from Mars.

i just can't hear Queen anymore...hum not all their collection ...their 4 first album (73-75) had some good taste
Then from 76 to 78 this is the train who get out of the rail (2 or 3 good songs per album) i will never buy an album from this era but in a good mood i can tolerate someone who hear those albums.
After it's even tastier than a Poppa Chubby shit...

I use to not like Tool, cos i thought they were scary. But then i listened to them, and now they're one of my favorite bands in the world.

Haha yeah... I thought I deleted those two other songs you sent me, but I found them one day.... I really like "Needles in the Camel's Eye", and I downloaded the rest of that cd.

Great. You should definitely check out his other albums as well. Try getting Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy) (1974), Another Green World (1975), and Before and After Science (1977).

    Will do...

I've already got most of "Taking Tiger Mountain", from what I've heard so far it's pretty damn good.
