ultimate-guitar.com is handy, they have lessons, tabs and a forum community. There are others, but this is the one I most frequent for learning new songs, skills and solid practice advice. If you're just starting , I would recommend learning to read tablature and notation...a few chords and scales! Good luck.

I would suggest you buy some books and learn your scales, notes and chords first, it's easier to learn at your own pace. Then you can go online and brush up on your techniques.
