No most of them speak some type of Mandarin.

 

I think that the two main chinese dialects are mandarin and cantonese. mandarin is the main one though. cantonese is spoken mostly in southern china, I think

I've heard that chinese immigrants to the us who speak different dialects of chinese will often speak to each other in english

 

Chinese is not a language, it is a type of food.

 

I guess so.... theres some dialects like it was said before though...
