England? This is Dejavu. Your Queen of our country has just been here! No idea why. Over.

My encouragement has overwhelmed my embarrassment. I was encouraged by your newly discovered sense of justice. It was not apparent earlier in the thread. You accused fingermouse not for what she said, but for what you are doing to yourself, I mean wales, common.

I was born and raised in England but moved to Scotland years ago and I don't think I would ever return - I have no problem with living in England (apart from Coventry, where I am from originally!) but I love the Highland life and the people here are great. The only issue is the biennial anti-english extravaganza that goes hand in hand with the World Cup or Euros, then most Scots turn into weird, unltra-nationalist William Wallaces!. You go from being their friend to being a Sassenach scumbag - it's at this time that I plan a trip down to Engalnd - usually to my mum in South Shields or to my usual holiday haunt in Great Yarmouth - my little bit of English bliss!.

It's a beautiful place, there are mountains everywhere you look but you have to go up a hill to go anywhere - fine if you're in good health and like walking but a real pain for lazy gits like me!.

Gairloch, Dorcoch, Portmahommock, Drumnadrochit and Aultbea all have stunning views. Just steer clear of Alness and Invergordon.
