After my living situation fell through recently I ended up in a temporary apartment, my situation has been shoddy for years and I am about ready to accept that this sort of life isn't working for me at this time. I plan to pack up some stuff and hit the roads soon. I don't really like the idea of doing it alone.

I just got back from a 1 month trip to SPI, Texas. Lived in a tent on a public beach. I recommend it and will be getting back to it ASAP. I cannot get food stamps at age 20 :-(

Yeah i love her shes my baby, but i dont wanna us to be without some kind of shelter. I have money for food so thats not an issue, and yeah ive been camping many times and idk if youve ever heard of alchemy, its a burning man regional event in lafayette ga and its pretty bad ass, just days of tripping, smoking, camping, music, oh and tripping haha

And yeah iatlas, as far as the beaches go im still working on it haha theres a lot of state camping grounds but most dont allow dogs and they few that do have strict rules...unless yours is a service dog...so i might try and get some certification heheh but idk a whole lot about texas, ive heard its crazy as shit out there though, if i ever head that way ill be sure to stop by and say hey

I don't know where you're thinking of going, Fullofbooks, but I'm considering making my way about half way between the Mississippi and the west coast... That is the west coast of the country... I'm at the west coast of Florida now. I just haven't decided when I'm going.

I was actually suppossed to move down there with 2 friends into a nice 2/1 ranch style house but shit came to fuck and now im bout to be homeless haha. What river were you staying at and whos property were you on, my biggest concern is getting arrested or getting my shit stolen

but i mean other than that nothing ha, im not even traveling with food, im just gonna stop and buy it when i need it

Well i wouldnt say im a "hardcore traveler" haha because honestly ive never had to do anything quite like this. But i have no car and getting on a bus with a dog can prove to be difficult unless shes a service dog, which thankfully shes is now certified haha

Idk im new to this so im not an expert or anything ha thats actually why i joined this forum in the first place. Im bout to be homeless and just wanted to see if i could reach out and meet a few people and maybe aquire a set destination before i am on the streets. Im originally from georgia, born an raised. Pretty much always lived within an hour or so from metro atlanta but never lived IN the city. Fuck that.

As for the food stamps, yes i need them and would love to have them haha how do i go about getting those without a permanent address or anything ha
