Well, here is what I did. (see pic)What happened is that when my lip swelled a little bit of ink got pulled into my lower lip. I'm hoping the ink that went into my lip will fade eventually leaving just the ink on my cheek.

yeah hopefully it fades, i know a couple of people whose ink "leaked" a bit outside of the tattoo, so now it looks bruised :( . hopefully yours doesnt!!

that had to hurt bad on your face??

I'm still pretty pleased with the tattoo because the spiral shape still comes through pretty good and it does a good job of covering a slightly misshapen lip due to a birth defect. I would prefer to see the ink that migrated fade out though.

Yeah, pain-wise this was the hardest tattoo I've done. I think it was worth it though.

No. I'm done on my face now. I'm very pleased with it all except for the part that wasn't supposed to be there, but that will hopefully fade out eventually.

Wow that's a tad strange...I've never seen that before....try exfoliating the area where the ink leaked into. It should speed up the fading process.

Your avatar matches the post! Lol! I'm not sure I understand what you mean about exfoliating it. You mean like with an abrasive cleanser or something?

There's a few different ways you can do it...for your lips I would suggest rubbing them vigorously with a dry wash cloth as often as you can handle it.

You CAN use a sugar scrub or some other kind of facial cleanser made for exfoliating but some people are really sensitive to those and you don't want to over irritate your lips..

There's also that Wrecking Balm shiz people use to fade tattoos....I've never used it myself but I hear it works well enough...hope that helps :)

Yes! Thank you. I'll try the rubbing first.
