Here right now, pretty cool. Its about 20-30 tents and they are growing vegetables and stuff right infront of government center. Here is the official website: http://occupymia.org
i was down at occupy wall st. for a long time... i went down to occupy miami and it was rather depressing. i walked around the park and asked about 5 people and their answers were along the lines of "we're just gonna stay here till the government changes maaan" it was really sad. zuccotti park was so active and productive and seeing this showed me why the occupiers have such a shitty reputation. i finally encountered two people who could inform me of the daily routine, marches, etc. and they told me it was an uninformed, unproductive group- though i had already realized that- and they march sometimes, but don't do much. all in all it was a real disappointment.
I heard alot of the South FL occupyers don't have a clue about anything. As far as Miami it seemed like alot of homeless people. But whatever at least they get news coverage and stand in solidarity with NYC.
What the hell's wrong with homeless people occupying? Do you need 5 cars to be worthy of protesting income disparity and financial rigging of the system?
