I'm not sure, there's quite a few that I really enjoy playing.... but after I learn one I move onto something else.

"Freebird" by (Can't remember - for the moment) I remembered...Lynard Skinnard (? Spelling) Most people think of the second half of the song, but the opening guitar riff is also good.

fwiw, a solo is not a riff. Songs like Little wing have no riff.


A riff is a repetition (usually fairly simple) of notes. It is nearly always single notes at a time (as opposed to chords or arppegiated chords), with the exception of power chords.
