I live in wisconsin and no one around here calls it spliff... Does anyone? Is it an old turm that no one uses anymore or what?
Round here, in Detroit, one might call a joint a spliff (especially big ones) but not the mary jane itself.
never heard of spliff as being used to talk about weed in these parts. Just green, tree, nug, bud, weed etc.
actually, a spliff is a fat joint made by sticking the end of wone paper to the bottom of another to make a longer paper. a joint rolled with tobacco and weed is called a ciga-weed.
actually i think youre both incorrct for trying to narrow the definition spliff=joint its not a type of joint its just a joint. some places might have their own assigned names, but in the end spliff = joint like, you say a ciggarette+weed joint is a ciga-weed with so much confidence.. yet.. thats the sort of term youd get slapped for using around here lol people would think your lame for example, we call plain weed 'green' and mixed weed 'spun' so its like 'hey ive got a joint' 'is it spun?' 'nar, green'
nah man, the reason why it's called a "spliff" is because it's different from a joint... it's rolled differently (just like why a tulip is called a tulip...).
i always call a joint a joint and a joint with tabbaco i call "tainted." Some of my friends i know put bud in their ciggerettes and call it a spliff however. I never smoke tobacco so it doesnt apply to me.
