the alternative is to have your dating pool be the people you happen to bump into in a given day. if you like you can easily expand your pool exponentially to all local available women/men who have taken the chance at these new-fangled online dating sites! it's only online until you agree to meet for a date

Of course, it's a lot easier for women to meet people over these things than it is men...

 

Interaction on the Book of Face has taken me to Sweden (just casual) and Belguim (2 year relationship) so it was not all "Cyber life"

Seems like a solid option once you're older, and ready to settle down. I doubt I will find a overly-ambitious nomadic hippie that wants to travel the world on a dating site.

 

I'd as soon go up the road and pick up a crack junkie or alchy or similar...at least then I'd know what I was getting to start with.
