i haven't, but sum of my friends have! i know people that have dropped out got their GED and are now in school. started at a community college and then transfered to a 4 year school. then i've see others drop out and get their ged and are now doing nothing! it's up to you to decide what you think is right for yourself. evaluate your reasons for dropping out and make sure its sumthign you really wanna do and not because you're too lazy to do it...i know alot of people like that!

i wish the best of luck to you! hope it all works out!

Hello, dood this is what I did, I started smoking alot of pot and figured hey this school thing really really really sucks. So I dropped out and took my GED, got 1 book, studied, and passed. It was simple for me and I suck in math, so , yea. It all depends on what you really know. Oh and, it kicks ass if you hate high school :) !

I dropped out of high school and got my GED. That route may not be for everyone, but I don't regret what I did.

I have both a GED and a Diploma. I did graduate from high school and when I went to go to college it was taking too long for my transcripts so I was in need of something. I had 2 weeks to prep for the GED and let me tell you, a diploma is nothing but putting in time for a peice of paper a GED is a bitch! I was told later on that most high school graduates could not pass a GED exam and believe me I would bet on it! I graduated from High School with a 3.70 GPA and I squeeked past that GED exam with the GED prep book being studied night and day for 2 weeks.

I think for more of those who have that GED then a diploma now. Before I had to take it I used to think they were for people who could not cut it, I was soooo wrong!

Best of luck to you in your venture, most colleges now accept the GED and I see why.
