Here's some Black Metal that I can think of off the top of my head... There's literally thousands more, but if you look any of these guys up on youtube you should be able to find a bunch of other in the "related videos" section.

Tsjuder, Dissection, Emporer, Gorgoroth, Satyricon, Panzerfaust, 1349, Belphegor, Abigail Williams, Cryptik Howling, Aeternam, Darkthrone, Kalmah, Nothgard, Trimonium, Wolven Ancestry, Eclipse Eternal, Hate, Ghost, Empyrean Plague, Pagan Ritual.

Holy shit man, I almost forgot how awesome norwegian black is (being on a roots reggae and dub binge). Beats any death metal band in my opinion :D

I am a big fan of Karin Dreijer Andersson and her Swedish band, "The Knife".
Sometimes labelled "electronica" and "alternative", but there's an edge to The Knife that should please many metal fans.
She guest soloed on a cool video by Röyksopp performing What Else Is There?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADBKdSCbmiM&ob=av2e"]What Else Is There ?.

Not sure why you think that should be in a black metal thread, probably because it's from Scandinavia...?

For your death metal recommendation. Therion use to be a death metal band in their early days. This is their best IMO:

Have you heard The Knife? They have been mislabeled electronica, there's a harder sound to them than most of Royksopp's stuff and The Knife usually does their own stuff solo, this was just a collaboration that I liked.
ABBA and Bjork is Scandi too and I did not include them.
    Mama Mia!

I did not say they were metal, simply that someone who likes metal might give it a listen...that's all!
