yea and reading back over my post I also started thinking that it has a lot to do with economic circumstances.

The women that wore bonnets wanted to show that they didnt work in a field all day.

Then later when women started going to the beach and wearing bathing suits, they wanted to show that they lived a carefree lifestyle and vacationed a lot.

Asian women probably want to keep their skin white for similiar purposes. I read once that a lot of Asian women have surgery to make their eyes not so slanted and appear more westernized..so maybe they're trying to make their skin look more european or american.

 

yep haha. I don't care what you guys think haha. i like my white skin haha. if you think I am unhealthy whatever think what you want I don't care. and plenty of chicks think I am good looking and I know plenty of white chicks just like me and I think they are good looking too haha. but I like all colors of women. everything from ghost white to black there is hot chicks of every color.

only on the biggest morning television program here in the united kingdom this morning

they were discussing black women bleaching there skin - it's allegedly a huge trend

30% of black women want to be lighter and many are putting dangerous chemicals on their face to do so

the real question really is - what is so wrong with being black?

Nothing our skin color has been the envy of all races since first contact.

It's thicker and more resistant to the effects of the sun. some are blessed with skin color closer to what God intended but they've fallen prey to the white image of beauty rather than embrace the gift
