Strange when I hear Irish music and see those dancers I want to vomit; it’s the most fucked up dance ensemble imaginable Hotwater

Hummm, I suspect for the folks dancing though it feels very empowering. It goes back to the roots of different people. Same with some religious festivals, even though I might not "get it" I can get the part where it has depth for the folks doing it. Sort of just a matter of accepting that its way different from where where my head is at. Plus for me it feels fun to dance and while I can't dance worth a damn in such a herd of dancers it's more about having fun than getting judged about my lack of skill/grace.:sunny:
we had 2 sisters in our school from gr1 through gr8 and every single year we had to sit through them doing that irish jig dance...those poor girls...i think their mom was making them do it.. ...when my far more financially successful and laden with responsibilities siblings envy my careless lifestyle kinda makes me feel empowered
