Young adults ever get flak for being nude in change room?

in high school i remember some guys didnt care about being seen naked and some did..

just like everything else in life..

Besides homophobia, as in being thought of as gay should they like to expose themselves among their peers, could be insecurity regarding the size of their packages... Afterall, you almost only ever see big dicks in porn!

 

Yes, but I think that has always been true, so I don't think that's the reason high-school students don't shower any more. Perhaps porn has made the insecurity worse.

 

In high school, I think there are a few reasons why people don't shower anymore. A big reason is bullying. The communal shower, where the gym teacher no longer goes because of various reasons, can become a place where people are bullied. Showering after gym class is not encouraged, certainly time is not given for it, to prevent bullying from happening. Also, of course, guys don't like to be naked around their peers in the teen years because of comparisons that are made (dick size, but also muscles and whatnot).

 

So I guess bullying is the main reason. I wonder why bullying has gotten so much worse? I don't recall ever being bullied, even tho my flaccid penis size is small.

 

We can bully you over it now, if you feel like you missed out on a rite of passage or important formative experience of adolescence.

At my high school and junior high, showering at the end of gym class was required for everyone. On the girls' side, there were privacy partitions within the large common shower. After drying off, most girls went to a lot of trouble to put on underwear (at least partially) before dropping their towel, so they never fully exposed themselves. Girls who didn't make that effort were often spoken of as being slutty or crude.

I was rather flat-chested until my junior year of high school. Before that, I was one of the very few under-developed girls who chose not to struggle with putting on a bra under a wet towel, though I never did show my pussy or ass. You can't put your arms through the shoulder straps with a towel in the way, and I always put the shoulder straps on first. I decided to say the hell with the gossips. Let them say whatever they want to say about me showing my nipples. I wasn't really a slut at the time, but I never got the benefit of the doubt at school because I was born somewhere else. Girls who moved in from another town were always suspected of having low morals, even the ones that were quiet and polite like me.

I've been told that there were no partitions in the boys' shower room, and they definitely made a big deal out of penis size. If a guy revealed a small shaft in the shower, the class bullies would spread a rumor about it, and the victim would have trouble getting dates. A lot of the girls in my class (including me) didn't realize that relaxed size has nothing to do with hard size. We were stupid and backwards about a lot of things. We couldn't look stuff up on the internet. My sister eventually told me the truth about erections, from her own dating experience.

One happy junior high school memory is that for two years, we had gym class in the middle of the afternoon, and our last period teachers didn't care if some girls came to class barefoot on warm days. We just put our shoes in our gym bags to carry home, and put the bags in our lockers. Those were fun afternoons.

As an adult, I rarely change clothes in a public changing room, but when I do, I don't hesitate to get completely naked in front of whoever is in there. If anybody has any negative thoughts about it, I never hear anything. I wouldn't care anyway. As long as the rules allow it...

 

LOL... That would be nice!! This is one of my goals before spring, to look better naked... no more burger king for me lol!

I am not European, but when I visited Nantes, France a few years ago you were not allowed to be nude in the change room at all for the swimming pool I visited. There were private changerooms you were supposed to use. I didn't notice all the signs though until I had already gotten nude and put on my swimming trunks!
