If you have not yet seen this outstanding video documentary, you need to see it! You should be forewarned that some of the footage is very graphic. However, it's something I believe everybody needs to see in order to really understand what is happening in Iraq.

So has anyone watched this video? It should be pretty simple to view if you have a halfway decent connection.

 

Disgusting and criminal as I have long argued. Shame that the naysayers and armchair pundits will either refrain from watching the stark reality of our MIC's routine littany of lies and war crimes (as in Vietnam, no less so today) and corporate media assisted denials, else they will watch and continue making the expected hypocritical exceptionalistic excuses of "might makes right" apologists.

One can only hope that a new Daniel Ellsberg will emerge to publically expose the full extent of internal Pentagon/CIA/MIC criminal intent and set in motion the most sweeping extradition, judgement and conviction of all collusionists to this betrayal of international law and US founding principles ever witnessed by the world.

Perhaps then the end of grasping imperialistic aims of the Strausscons and the permanent reduction of US military expenditure and troop presence outside continental US soil might be a foreseeable possibility.

 

White phosphorus is scary.

When we learned how to treat people for it (not much you can do) they pretty much said it's as bad as any other chemical weapon.

 

And the hypocrisy of these fucking pigs, selling us the lie that we're over there because Saddam had chemical weapons, when it is the U.S. that not only has them, but is using them against innocent civilian populations. Isn't this the very same thing they accused Saddam of doing?

This kind of stuff makes me sick to my very core. It makes me even sicker to see the apathy amongst people who are far too preoccupied with football and video games to actually give a shit, failing to see that their future is also at stake.

It's time for people to turn off the TV, unplug the X-BOX, and remove the cell phone that seems surgically implanted to the side of their heads. If we don't do this, we're all going to be fucked.

The time is now for people to wake up out of their slumber and take a close hard look at what is going on. People, this is happening on behalf of YOUR name and YOUR failure to take action!

If you actually watched the video (which you didn't), the ex-marine interviewed said white phosphorus was used. The Itallian journalist, Guliana Sgrena - who was deliberately nearly murdered by US forces for coming too close to the truth - also said that white phosphorus was used. The video footage in the video shows Fallujah being indiscriminately firebombed with white phosphorus. Heck, even the link you posted admits that white phosphorus was used. So either you're in denial, intentionally distorting the facts, or, as usual, you don't have your shit together and are talking out your ass.

Which is the same thing as Napalm in its effect. No difference whatsoever.

So this is your justification to murder innocent men, women and children in such a horrible way?

You don't use it to firebomb anything. It does not show fallujah being firebombed with WP at all..

No not at all.. i could have just skipped on by this thread.. after watching the video i notice you had not mentioned MK77 .. That and WP are used in two very differing ways.. it confused what was going on.

Yes, it can be used as a "covering device." It can also be used in bombs and munitions, as was the case in Iraq (as is proven in the video). When the munitions explode, flaming particles are released which usually burn people beyond recognition. If that's not a firebomb, then what is it?

Leave and go where? Many of these people can't afford to just take a cab out of town and go stay in a hotel. And what "removal" are you referring to?

 

The bombing of any urban centres, removal or no, is categorically declared a War Crime and Crime Against Humanity by the Nuremberg Principles drafted and ratified by both the US and UK. Simple as.

The use of White Phosphorus, recognised as a chemical weapon, makes this criminality all the more hypocritical for its demonstration of whom it was in actuality that was not only prepared to attack another nation and people with WMDs but whom it was that actually did!

I DID watch the video several times.. it is difficult to negotiate through what is ''this can be used'' and ''i would not doubt that happened'' ''no i did not see this .. but would not be suprised''

You are connecting the two though.. with out any evidence... Yes the effects are what you describe and yes when fired it is does what you describe .. AND ?.


It shows bodys with out the cause of death who they are and what part they had took in the fighting.

Some of the ''horrors' inflicted are on people even kids that were part of the insurgency.. seeing a kids body does not always mean they were ''innocent''..

This is the only reason i did not wish to continue..because with out doubt it was not all cut and dry.. neither was it like the documentary proclaims.. to a point you have to leave things alone.. well i do anyway. It is not me being blind to the situation ..just i don't wish to have a contary position as flimsy as imho the video is.

I wanted to add the point Wk77 was used along with [wp] i confused my point because it seemed the thread was stateing wp was used in a manner not specified by US/iraqi forces [and i wanted to dispiute]... i can see it seemed like i was claiming it was not being used.

Neither WK77 or WP are ''illegal'' and that it was not used against innocent people..

The only innocent people effected were those RETURNING to there homes.. If you listen this is made clear... They had the right to return home.. unfortuantly it was just after a battle.. so hazards were unavoidable.

Prior to the attack thousands fled.. or were removed to camps outside the 'war zone'.. during the ceasefire.
Many did not wish to leave .. not because they could not but wished to help the insurgency.. Many were family members and children. They could have left but chose not too. So when you see some ''innocent'' civillians supposedly killed.. yes they may have not been fighting.. but they put them selves in harms way.. This is not a defence .. it is just a fact and shold imho be taken onboard.

In war all attrocities or criminal actions can be made justified. Sadliness the state as is with all states of this world. They existe only to make war. War is the basis of all economies, power, etc.

If you want to stop war you must stop the state. And to do that you must simply walk away from the state. Take nothing, refuse to participate and to fight anyone and everything at all expense.

Even if it means dying and seeing your lovers killed horrible. When a state lost its threat of violence the state dies.

 

That's well written, and worth reading.

It says nothing too remarkable I guess, what we all know about it not being the soldiers faults but that the resistance is still not wrong or "insurgents" for defending their homeland against american aggression.

But it's eloquent and written by someone with the authority to talk on that.
