"Merry Christmas from Payless. Merry Christmas." I still sing it every year! Plus they had cool coloring pages and contests for all the holidays like Easter, St. Patrick's, valentines day, Halloween and Christmas. Then Rite Aid had to come in and spoil it!
i used to go there for the 99 cent ice cream cones. they became 'rite-aide's where i live. some still keeping the ice cream by the scoop. although the price has gone up a wee bit.
