trying to get to colorado to live for a while...have no clue how to go about it need a job i guess advice?
I have spent some time researching going to Colorado for this winter season. I had been looking at working at a ski resort as many of them offer employee housing. Depending on where you want to live in CO many places are quite expensive. This is a good time if you are going to go as it is the tourist time for all the winter sports they have out there. I would assume that there are plenty of service jobs available at this time, but depending on your living costs it maybe hard to make ends meet. I would recommend if at all possible to to bring a friend so you can share the costs of being there. From experience I can tell you it is very hard to move far away by yourself with limited money and no job lined up. Good luck in your move out there.
thanks for all the advice i know what you mean and i think were going to wait until summer so we can go for a pretty good while. i found someone to come with me so we can split the rent and stuff. do you have an idea of the best areas to live?...we definately want a music scene!
I personally would stay far away from Denver. I hate living here, to many damn people. I am looking at moving to fort collins, a smaller college town about an hour north of Denver, not great but better. I would really love to get down into the San Louis Valley eventually, stuff is not rediculously expensive there yet.
