Hi there! I am currently 1 month and 2 days exactly sober. Are any of you? Why did you choose this life of sobriety?
Been sober 17 years now , drink cost me two marriages , countless jobs etc . Very glad to be sober but i still take it one day at a time .
That is wonderful. I hope to be able to say that I have been sober 17 years... congrats! Truly inspiring
i've awoken still quite drunk... so not been sober any time and seeing new year coming up so fast i'm not gonna be sober at all. GIVE ME RUGSSSSSSSSSSSSS yes i meant rugs.
daniidean and wisp, congratulations to both of you and I hope that you continue to win your battles. I am PROUD of both of you. :grouphug::groupwave::groupwave:
Congratulations on achieving sobriety daniidean and wisp. I used to be quite the partier but time has seen my consumption taper to very nearly nothing these days. For me the novelty of alcohol just wore off and that "buzzed" feeling started registering as being a little sick. I don't like being sick. I've also witnessed alcoholism first hand which renders insane my previous drinking but the road to wisdom is paved with foolishness. Confronting any addiction would be the best decision anyone could make.
Thanks Guys , i needed that hug :grouphug:, but please keep a HF member called Uitar9 in your thoughts he just got his sixty day chip :2thumbsup: and is heading for 100 days soon
Sobriety can be very easy with the will to do it. I am 3 years, 4 months sober. Congrats for your recent sobriety accomplishments
^ Congrats to anyone getting sober... wasn't easy for me. and I still have my ups and downs..but life's so much better sober. im starting to see the good in most everything in life. especially being free from fear of living without the booze...keep up the good work..:grouphug:
