There have been accidents with injuries, concerning a certain brand of high-heels... and therefore, an official fall hazard warning for these shoes has been issued: http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml12/12061.html IMO, this warning could be extended to all shoes - after all, walking barefoot is healthier and safer on many occasions. This is due to a defect in the (made in China) shoe itself, not solely (no pun intended) due to wearing (or knowing how to) the shoes themselves. While I certainly love going barefoot there are times when it's nice to dress up and do the town. Six inch Gucci stilettos go well with my Versace dress:love:. IMHO, three inch heels are not "high heels".
See this is why i own a nice pair of slippers. I will actually invest some money in slippers, they are amazing. My brother wore a pair of slippers for years doing everything. If i went to a dress up party and one girl was in slippers i would want to get to know her more, because she wants to be comfurtable, and look good in the dress. ; D
i agree with you on this point...how ever...the lawyer in me must point out that your use of the phrase ''on many occasions'' is in a effect a disclaimer thus making the following also true
Yes, well, there are environments, where I wouldn't want to be barefoot, such as working at a steel mill or walking on a volcano next to a lava stream... This, for instance is not a barefoot environment: This, on the other hand (or foot?) is a perfect barefoot environment: I love the happy expression of the dreadlocked beauty on the right - I like to think that her happiness comes from feeling the wet and muddy skin of Mother Earth beneath her bare soles... :daisy: Wiggling bare toes, ~*Ganesha*~
