Does everyone know how much life in Byron Bay costs and how the best way is to get a cheap appartment there?

And as an alternative, where are the real (none-touristy) communes in Australia?
How are they organised? Eg everybody has tasks? Are they living in tents/houses?

It's not always easy to find the perfect holiday accommodation but with a little time spent on the Internet doing some research you are sure to find accommodation that will suit any budget and all preferences.

you'll find it expensive in byron bay

now go back 15 /20 years ago, it was great, anyone would talk to anyone, not many people lived there, the people that visited were laid back.

fats forward to the future and you have the middleaged with their childbrides pushing prams around the place, everyone is a snob. its not laid back. i hate the place now.

the main carpark used to be free, now its charged by the hour.

you could walk from the maincarpark on the beach and after 500m not see a soul until the next town. now the beach is swamped thanks to property developers

i guess you could have a look around the place but you'll need a car. don't base yourself in nimbin , its full of losers who became drugfucked.
